Authors Note: This poem as well is not directly involved with the Kingdom Hearts Series yet it does relate to the games basic concept of light and darkness. While I was writing this I was thinking of the choice Riku had to make when he had to choose to walk the road of light or the road of darkness. This is a free verse poem so again it does not follow any particular poetry guidelines.

The Twilight In Between
At a young age we are taught of the difference between good and evil
The light and the dark
We are told that we can only be one or the other, not both
Most of us are praised for being good, selflessness, caring, and pure
Others do the same thing and are scolded into fury
Some of us are raised to do evil, to act on their rage, to ignore others feelings
Other people are raised this way and become the most innocent of all people
The conflict between light and dark is everlasting
People have always said we can only be on one side
This is a lie for no human being is pure
No human being is a complete saint or demon
All people who thrive on light have felt the power of the dark before
And all people who thrive on darkness have felt the passion of the light before
Deep inside we are all incomplete
And none of us walk along only one path in their life
Instead we go astray crossing over from the light and the dark
Or from the dark to the light
If I were to be asked which path should be taken
I would suggest the road to twilight
For along this path you may forever stay and never be lead astray
It is both light and dark
It is complete
Twilight is a human's true nature
However at the end of a humans life comes the road's end
It is their choice as to how their twilight path ends
Some people chose oblivion at a new dawn
As for the others that chose oblivion at nightfall
