Chapter 1
Nancy ran down the hall to the nearest room and dead-bolted the door. She was finally able to breathe. Everyone seemed to be after her for some reason but the weirdest was her dads reason. She forgot to clean her room. Carson Drew was a lawyer and was Nancys father. He was very nice and a charming man. He would always have a case for nancy to solve. But he could get kinda strict when it came to keeping the house clean.
As nancy decided upon going outside, she heard a cracking noise at her window. Now this wasnt anyone that was after her but an old man asking for her pearls that hung loosely around her neck. She quickly declined and ran out of the room. Her dad was waiting outside with a message from George. It read:
"Nancy, come over. I have a case that has been unsolved for months. Come quick. Come now."
Those last few words were stuck in nancys head. She needed to get to Georges house and FAST!
