Those schooldays
When in school, we had study as our staple
And also met many kinds of people.
We developed close friends and chum
Which made our hearts warm.
Together we studied, played and sang
And rushed home when the bell rang.
Helping everyone in times of need
Satisfied us, as it was a genuine deed.
We fought and debated over random facts
Although our friendship remained intact.
Sometimes we played a prank or two with someone
But to confess the truth, there would be none.
We used to assemble in lines during prayer
From top we looked like a arranged layer.
The students were placed in exams with other classes
And liked mixing with the masses.
We participated in various sports and functions
Which were held on important occasions
We had teachers who were nice and good
But some jerks did everything to spoil their mood.
They did their best to teach and develop us
And were forced to scold us for creating fuss.
From all the instances we faced tribulations
We had lessons of certain instructions.
With hope, trust and confidence, we solved our difficulties.
This helped us adjust ourselves with our communities.
This life is something that everyone deserves to relish
I hope I can remember all till I perish.
