It was a great beautiful morning in Pallet Town. Brian awoke eagerly from his bed. I finally get my pokemon today… he thought. Like any story, but let me explain everything.
Today is July 10. It is Brian's birthday. Oh yeah, Brian just turned 5. I know that pokemon trainers get their pokemon at 10, but Brian is different. He is smart, and he excelled in Pokemon School. He is ready to get his pokemon. His dad has talked to Professor Oak, and he is able to get his pokemon today.
He got dressed and brushed his teeth. He left his house and went to a small cave entrance in Route 1. This is a secret place where he and his friends meet to talk and play. Today, there was only Aaron, Jennifer, Steven, and his sister, Melissa (the others were asleep). "Hi guys," he said. The friends greeted him back. They all gave him there good-byes as Brian got ready to go on his journey. They talked for a while before Brian left.
He got to Prof. Oak's lab. "Sorry kid, you must be in the wrong house," said some girl. "Yeah," a boy agreed, "you are too young to get a pokemon." Now, now," said Prof. Oak who just came in, "he is also here with you." "What?!" all three children exclaimed, "Well I'm not letting him getting a pokemon!" All three children randomly took a pokeball. "Sorry Brian," said Oak, "this is Christina, Jason, and Michelle. "Hi," said Brian. "Here are your pokedexes; you will use this to collect data that I will need. Now, Brian, about your poke-." All three children already left the room, only leaving Oak and Brian. "Never mind, Brian, here's your pokemon," said Oak. Professor Oak handed Brian a pokeball. Brian let the pokemon out. "A pikachu?! Cool!" said Brian. "Good," said Oak, "you can go now." Brian returned the pikachu and left the laboratory.
He went to his house. "I will miss you," said his mom as she handed him his bag with some supplies, "be careful." "Okay, Mom," said Brian as he left. He felt so excited. Today, he will start is pokemon journey.
