Priceless
Because I get sick of hearing (okay reading) people bitch about Tim and Ziva turning the radio off on 'Dead Air' (especially when the particular fanfic written has absolutely nothing to do with that episode) here's my take. First NCIS fanfic ever and first fanfic written in at least 5 (or more) years. Also, this took about 5 minutes to type so it's definitely not one of my best.
The three returned to the bullpen, Tim and Ziva talking quietly while Tony sulked, behind him.
Gibbs came in ever-present cup of coffee in his hand. "Sitrep!" he barked.
Before Tony could answer with his dwindling voice, Tim stood slightly taller and gave his report on the assumption that Tony was a salesman, with Ziva following that Tony needs to wear a wedding ring if he was going to pretend to be married. The two gave a complete report, trying very hard not to laugh at their surprised partner.
"So basically you got nothing?" Gibbs asked, scowling.
The two shrugged and looked at Tony who was glaring back at the two of them.
"Get to work!" Gibbs barked before stalking off.
"Turned off the radio, huh?" Tony asked, his voice getting raspier with every word.
"Come on DiNozzo," Tim said grinning.
"You didn't think we would really do that did you? Although the look on your face was...priceless."
