Nobody really liked her.

It was something she had become accustomed to, people making fun of her and constantly calling her names. She thought maybe when she would die she would finally have freedom, but her life was taken to soon and she was condemned to spend eternity in the place that had brought her so much misery. Now don't get her wrong, Hogwarts in itself had been, for lack of better words, magical. In the muggle world she was just a plain Jane, no one gave her much notice. She thought all of that would change when she became a witch, she was finally special. But special wasn't always good. "Mudblood"

She had barley settled in before the word was thrown at her. It was a few boys dressed in green, the Slytherin house of course. She had been walking down the hall alone and they cornered her and called her that along with insulting her family. She wasn't able to stop the tears and that only fueled their fire.

And then there he was

His face was angelic, with his brown lock matching his beautiful dark eyes.

He told the boys they needed to leave her alone, told them he would tell the head master. They muttered something about his new title going to his head and how he was turning his back on his brothers, but they skulked away anyways.

And then he smiled at her... and she was hooked.

As time passed people still picked on her, but if anyone saw him coming they would leave her alone right away for fear of getting in trouble. He never spoke to her again, but would give her small smiles if they passed in the hall. It was the nicest a boy had ever been to her.

But as years passed the boy became distant, she would sometimes walk the halls to see him standing in the middle of the hall, seeming to be lost in thought. Summer was soon approaching and she decided she was going to take a chance and ask him if she could write him, the worst he would say is no. She began her way to the main feast hall where she knew he would be when she was stopped by a group of students, she even saw a couple of her house in with them. They began to pick on her about everything, trying to get the last bit out before summer she supposed. After a moment she couldn't take it anymore and she ran off the girls laboratory. She locked herself in a stall, pulled her knees to her chest and began to sob. She wished people treated her normal, and for a moment she began to miss her old life of never being noticed. Being invisible was easier than being ridiculed. Soon she heard someone at the door, a raspy voice. She opened the door, cleared her voice trying to be strong and told them to go away.

And then she saw a pair of big yellow eyes.

And like that everything she had planned for her life was gone. She would never marry, she would never have children or get a job.

Who would have thought the sweet boy who she had fallen in love with would be her demise.

The Dark Lord himself.

Poor miserable moping Moaning Myrtle.
