Headcanon: Gabriel writes Destiel fanfiction
Here it is
The night was dark, the only light outside coming from the raindrops reflection of my bed lamp, the wind banging the trees hard against my bedroom window, a perfect night for a book. For a reason I can't understand, the lights in my room always flicker, off, on, off, on, off, and on again. The words in my book faltered as the light shut out. I waited longingly for it to return, five long minutes before I knew something was wrong.
The scream came out of nowhere, it terrified me, I reached for my book to use as a weapon, but shrank back as I saw my attackers knife glinting in the moonlight.
"SAAAMAANTHAAA" A spirits voice rang out from all the corners of my room. All I could see was the assailant's knife shining before me. I tried to scream but felt a hand on my mouth. The knife lifted upwards, aiming for my face.
And then all at once- "TAHAHAHAHA"
The light flickered on.
"Ohhh, I got you with that one! I've been planning that prank for months!" I pulled out my phone.
"Hola Mishamigos, Deannna got me gud! Rly made me fall for dis whole ghost thang! beeteedubs, know ghosts don't exist but it was the heat of the moment!" I twittered.
"Ahh, Samantha get off your phone! You always do this!" Deanna yelled, taking out her Samsung with a pink case. She raced onto Twitter. "LOL Sammanntha, u don't have 2 broadcast my pranks. Just 4 this i'm gonna get u twice as gud 2moro;)"
"There's something else we need to talk about."
"Just let me finish up my Insta post."
"Samantha, this is serious," She lowered her voice to a whisper. "I found us a case."
I shoved my phone into my back pocket.
"A case?"
"A case."
"Like..."
"Yeah."
"In town?"
"Not really."
"So why do we have to be the ones?"
"Because..."
"Because what? Deanna, what's going on?"
"It's the Demon."
"The Demon? It's not possible! He's already dead!"
"No. The bodies were found scarred. Someone carved it on their forehead."
"How do you know for sure? It could be a different sigil."
"There was a picture."
She held up a crinkled grey newspaper from last week, The Hunters Daily there was a black and white photo printed right on the front page. There was no mistaking Arsemis's sigil, the distinctive curl encasing the intricately carved infinity. Samantha snatched the paper, they weren't the only ones to recognize his handiwork, it was clear by the headline that other hunters had seen it too.
"Telltale Sigil That the Infamous Demon Arsemis Is Back For Good" she read off "We don't know for sure though. Could be a copycat."
"It's him."
"But how can we possibly know?"
Believed to be dead Arsemis makes a reappearance in Greater Sudbury, Canada. Hunters baffled by this feat of the inhuman. So far Arsemis has taken 10 victims inscribing them with his usual sigil. We have sent six specialist hunters and have not heard from them. But recent news on the case is a message from Arsemis. On his last victim we found not only his sigil but also an inscribed letter on the victim's back. We have stolen the body from the Greater Sudbury Morgue and are currently investigating the case. We would like to call in a unit of special forces. All hunters selected to be on this unit will receive a call tomorrow at 8:00 central American time.
"So?"
"I got a call."
"I'm guessing it wasn't from Channing Tatum."
"No."
"Wait, but this paper's from a week ago!"
"I thought it was a copycat too. I rejected the case."
"How does this prove anything?"
She grabbed the tv remote off of my bedroom table, flicking on the switch. It went straight ( A/N haha) to the Hunters Daily News. "It's DJ BobbZ Singer! On the Hunters Daily Newscast! It's like Hunters Daily..." He paused for a very long time. "But Newscast!"
"Who is this weirdo?" Samantha said.
"Just wait."
DJ BobbZ Singer paused for another five minutes before it cut to a different newscaster. "Breaking News on the Arsemis case! The hunters we sent in the special forces have been confirmed dead. One civilian survivor remains. He arrived at the door of the police precinct covered in blood. Our specialists removed him from the premises before he could talk to police. During an exclusive interview he confided in us that the demon was in fact the infamous Arsemis the Foul, the foulest demon of them all. We'll be assembling a new team of special forces. Anyone who will not comply will be banned from Hunter Enterprises. We will be sending out messages shortly." The phone's blaring alarm cut her off.
I quickly snatched the remote and turned the TV off. Deanna quick picked up the phone and pressed the talk button, turning it to the voicemail.
"Samantha! Deanna! I know this case is hard for you but you're the ones that killed him last time. And we need you. I'm sorry but if you don't comply you will no longer be the members of Hunters Enterprises. We will not supply the cases, the weapons, the money or the Dunder Mifflin paper to you." Deanna stared angstily into the distance. "You must give us your decision by midnight tonight or this offer will disintegrate and we will cut off all ties with you." Static ensued.
"We can't do this" cried Samantha vindictively.
"We have too. We can't get bi ( A/N haha) on our own. We don't earn enough of the money to support the house and we need the Dunder Mifflin paper for the school."
"Okay, but I'm not happy about it." Samantha grumbled.
Deanna picked up the phone and redialed.
"Hello, thank you for calling Hunt-"
"We volunteer as tribute," Deanna strated heterosexually.
"We expect to see you in Greater Sudsbury by Tuesday."
"We have school!" said Samantha complainitively.
"I don't care." The phone went dead.
"Whadda ya say about a field trip, Sammie?"
"I say, we have finals."
"Yeah, I don't care either," Deanna said half-heartedly. "Get packed. We leave at the break of dawn."
It's not Destiel yet, but you know what they say "everything happens"
Not for a reason, just "everything happens"
I don't own SPN, I'm not that rich, also I don't own Dunder-Mifflin paper or anything that's referenced in this.
(Wish I did though, they have THE BEST paper
