Author's notes: This poem is dedicated to the sweetest character in FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST, ours favourite Alphonse Elric, as he journeys from place to place in search to bring his older brother back home. Set a little before the time when the movie (the conqueror of shamballa) story took off in Amestris, when Al visits the famous city Central, by the train (the name is imagined by me), for the first time after he became human back again and lost his memories.

The train to Central
Alphonse Elric was travelling by the New-Central Express
He thought it would all be a mess...
He was searching for his brother
He had moved from one station to another
He feared, "the food I got may not suffice"
But that didn't happen, it was all very nice!
Before that he had bought a ticket for the 2nd class,
As he boarded the train, there was a huge mass.
He kept seeing a variety of faces
As people got up and down in different places.
Passengers were having refreshments, but ice cream
Was just the right thing for him.
As the train picked up speed
To all the hustle, he stopped paying heed.
He fixed his gaze outside the window
And enjoyed to see the farmers sow
Slowly he dozes off within a few minutes
After the ticket examiner saw the tickets.
In his dreams, he saw the Gate
Opposite of which, there was Ed
He woke up to the loud whistle
With bags, he saw everyone rustle.
He rubbed his eyes... it was such a wonderful sight!
The train had reached Central, much to his delight.
