Reminisce
I remember the day I sold that dog.
My shop had been open for a month. I was proud to have my own store to give animals good homes. I had finally found this place after earning my vet's license the previous year.
Anyways, that day, a woman entered my still-new shop in search of a lap-dog. She introduced herself as Alison Grey. After about an hour of searching, she chose a lovely Akita female.
Years passed. She always returned here for the Akita's medial need and supplies. The lively puppy was named Evita. Not really a name I would choose for a pet, but it fit the little chatterbox. And she was a loudmouth. She only stopped yapping to eat and sleep. Excepting those two vital activities, she never shut up. Ever. I had advised Ms. Grey to keep Evita indoors, as she might bother the neighbors; I am not sure whether or not she listened.
Not too long ago, Evita started being accompanied by a bald dark-skinned man by the name of Benjamin Coffin III. He claimed to have married Ms. Grey, and I see that it is true. However, he did not seem quite as enamored of Evita as had Ms. Grey.
I received news of Evita's death when a sobbing Mrs. Coffin stormed into my shop and handed me an invitation to her funeral.
