Harry walked up to the gate. Opening it slowly, he stepped inside. Not even bothering to look around, he walked straight towards the stone. He bent down and laid the flowers upon the grave. Thinking about all she had done for him, he fell farther into his depression.
It must have been cold there in my shadow

After the Last Battle, Harry was the only one said to have destroyed Voldmort. Ron had been jealous but not her. She told him she didn't want to be known as long as he knew what she had done. She had smiled at him while she was trying to recover from that night.

Harry wondered if she ever knew that she was his hero. That she was the reason he was alive. That he loved her. That she had carried him when he couldn't carry himself.

Ron had told him that she felt he didn't realize what she had done for him at times. But Harry had. He knew every little thing she had done for him. He kept it in his mind and in his heart at all times.

He had felt lost when she was killed because she jumped in front of a curse shot by a mad death-eater. He was again at her grave. Ron and Ginny had told him to move on, that she would have wanted him to. But he wouldn't. He couldn't. And as he walked away from the grave the words engraved on the stones came to mind.
