It's official, this is my favorite Naruto pairing.
Second attempt at -Zabuza x Haku-
Disclaimer: Nothing.

Haku was exhausted. After all, Zabuka was no easy sensei. They were both worn down, taking refuse in the deep forest to rest up. The sun had finally dropped behind the mountains and the moon began to shine. The thin streams of light glimmered off the mask, hiding the young boy's face. His hand reached up to pull it off, and fatigues eyes peered up at the navy sky.
The light breeze brushed against Zabuza's skin and he sighed in relief. He glanced over to Haku, sitting beautifully under the moonlight. That boy was amazing, and they both knew it. His soul was young and powerful, but wise and cunning. Zabuza had never felt so strongly about a person before. Not only was he impressed but in some, fragile moments, he was almost in awe. Haku was his frozen angel, stained with dirty blood.
And… that is why he loved the child.
Zabuza though, knew his place. He was master, puppeteer and most of all, a deadly assassin. He sat in the dark corner, at a distance and kept a watchful vigil. His long blade rest beside him and only the tip was left in the light. Haku stretched and lazily looked over at the tree. He knew that one eye was always focused on him. It was comforting.
Haku smiled. He could smell the blood from Zabuza's mouth. He was audacious today and his attacks were all very personal. They fought a close battle; close enough to smell each other's hot breaths. Haku smiled, in the very same way and landed one hard punch to Zabuza's jaw. That is how the battle ended.
He finally made his master bleed and watched as the crimson soaked his bandages. Zabuza began to unpeel the strips from around his neck. Haku watched but he could not see. He wanted to look upon the face that was always hidden to him. It was not fair; Zabuza had seen his face and even gave him his first mask.
Haku rose to his feet and gained the full attention of his master. Then, the smile suddenly disappeared. Zabuza got up and his fingers firmly wrapped around his weapon. He raised it up, in defense, but Haku nimbly stepped on the blade and pushed his lithe body forward. They collided.
Zabuza fell back and when he opened his eyes, there was laughter. Haku giggled playfully, as he sat atop his master's chest. Zabuza could not see, however, for the moonlight caressed his bare face. Haku placed a hand upon his cheek, and touched it gently.
''You are so beautiful…'' The young boy breathed out quietly.
He leaned down and softly pressed his lips to the red one's.
Haku felt Zabuza's strong arms wrap around him, and the frost enveloping his body melted. However, the kiss became rough, and Zabuza rolled the boy over and pinned him down. He got up, after a moment, and Haku was breathless. His cheeks were hot and he felt so warm.
''Never let your guard down…'' Zabuza said, in a husky tone.
And… Haku smiled.
