Reunion

This is just something that I decided to come up with to give a bit of closure to the New Friend story. I might do more with that story later but it will be one

shots not new chapters.

Glancing at his watch, Chad noticed that he only had five minutes left to make it to the school. It was the 25th class reunion. It was hard to believe twenty five

years had passed since he had graduated from middle school. Lilly had said she would meet him there. She'd said something about going with Miley but he wasn't sure

exactly what she'd said since he was working on an important document for an upcoming trial.

Jake had recently been arrested for possesion of controlled substances and a few other minor crimes and he'd asked Chad to defend him. The media attention the

case had drawn was incredible even though Jake hadn't been in any movies or TV shows for close to fifteen years. Chad had declined comment to every reporter who had

asked him a question except for one who had caught him on a bad day. Since he had told her a few less than acceptable things, no one had really bothered him. He prefered

it that way.

Miley was still Hannah Montana although she rarely put out any new albums. After a small incident in China in 2010, she'd kept mostly to studio work rather than

tours and concerts. The Oliver accident had taken a toll on her too. It had taken a toll on everyone.

Oliver had been doing his usual work directing traffic after one of Hannah's concerts when an obsessed fan approached Hannah. After Hannh refused to go home with

him, he pulled out a gun. Oliver, being the nearest to Hannah at the time, rushed foward to try and get the gun away from him. Unfortunately, the man's reflexes were better

than expected. He used his only bullet in the gun to shoot Oliver point blank in the face and then ran. Oliver died at the scene. The man didn't make it far and was arrested

and convicted of first degree murder and attempted kidnapping. Chad had prosecuted the case. He was glad the man would be spending about twenty years in prison.

As he looked up, he realized he'd finally made it to the school. Parking his car and getting out, he went into the front lobby. Lilly and Miley were waiting for him.

"Wow, think you took long enough to get here?" Lilly asked jokingly.

"Heh, no I could have stayed and continued working on that case for Jake but I gave it up for you and Miley," he replied.

An announcment was made over the loudspeaker saying that refreshments were being served in the cafeteria.

"You two wanna go get somehting to eat? I'm starving," he asked.

"Sure," Miley replied.

The three of them walked slowly towards the cafeteria, remembering everything that had happened int he school, and looking foward to everything that would

continue to go on for the rest of their lives.

Okay so the ending probably sucked but oh well I wrote this in ten minutes. Anyway, as I said earlier, I might do some more one shots that continue on things that happened in New Friend but I won't be doing anymore chapter stories in the forseeable future.
