Valour

Dudley Dursley was anything and everything one would expect of a normal 13 year old boy living in Edinsburg. He had friends to play with during his vacationing weeks, studied and finished his schoolwork half-heartedly, but most of all, he attended a private and prestigious boarding school in Scotland. The parents of his holiday friends would always praise Dudley for his "scholarly and academic abilities" and having the privilege to be invited and attend a boarding school. The all saw him as a role model for their own children to follow, hoping that the younger ones may be invited to Dudley's high-class school one day.

On the other hand, Dudley found the constant pestering of the neighbors' and incessant screaming, wailing and whining of the children to be near unbearable. It was something he could not possibly hope to stand, ever. After having to stay around and please the children and nosy neighboring wives for two weeks straight, he finally blew up. Dudley just up and refused to take another step outside the house, and outside his room to endure the ruckus that his mother loved.

In his room he stayed, pouring over many books, especially the ones he nicked out from the restricted section in the library. He was a boy on a mission, a self appointed and personally important mission: to find a means to revive the dead, more specifically, his dead cousin Harry Potter. Dudley Dursley was prepared to face any obstacle, and go through any means in resurrecting his cousin. In the years following the death of his cousin, and finding out the possibility of resurrecting the dead, Dudley had set forth in the study of necromancy, taking notes from as many books and the precious few grimoires he had gotten his hands on. Experimenting was done during the school year out in the Forbidden Forest, where no one would dare question the dark and menacing aura that spew forth from such a place.

But time and time again he was faced with many a failed summoning of the dead. Dudley would then go back to his research and once again find where and what he had done wrong, all the while hoping that one day he would see his cousin alive and well again.

'I'll bring you back, no matter what cousin.' Dudley Dursley was set in completing this goal.
