He's nice. His smiles are warm and his words are kind and sincere. He knows your favorite color and your favorite place to be alone. He looks at you and really sees you. He's taken to grabbing your hand randomly during the day and you let him. He said he loved you, said that you didn't have to say it back just yet. He said that, smiled and wheeled away. He's sweet and cute and it would be perfect but he's not her and you are not an actress. You wish you could fake it, but at the end of the day he's Artie. Artie your best friend. The guy you spend your weekends playing Rock Band and eating cereal with. He wants you the way you want her. You hope he doesn't feel as miserable as you do with this unrequited love eating away. The glimmer of hope in his eyes makes you feel less guilty.

She isn't really nice. She rarely smiles at you and her words are normally hurtful but you don't think that's on purpose. She probably thinks your favorite color is black and she doesn't know about your super secret place. Most of the time when she looks at you, you're not sure she even notices you. She's never held your hand, but she did accidentally grab your breasts once. She's self-centered and beautiful and it would never be perfect, at least not while you're still stuck in high school. You wish she knew how hard you cried when Mr. Schuester gave you Tonight and she walked out. She's Rachel Berry and she's sorta your friend but not really. You never spend any time outside of school with her unless it's Glee related. She wants him. You watch her make a fool of herself around him. You wish she could see you. See that you think she's amazingly talented and beautiful and perfect, all the things she wishes he saw. You wish you could kiss her pout away. You wish she could see that she's your whole world. You wish she could love you, really love you. You wish she loved you like he does.
