Kaito lay in full KID uniform using his cape as a pillow underneath the light bridge enjoying the warm it gave off while listening to the music it seemed to make.
The test chamber around him was dim except for the light flowing in from the empty observation chamber and light bridge's light. Kaito had it set so he could lay under the bridge by the now open chamber door so he could leave at the first sign of trouble.
"What are you doing? You should've finished that test hours ago." The slightly irritated voice piped through the intercom. "You'll get fat if you lay there like a potato you know. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if you did turn into a potato at this rate with your laziness."
The thief didn't reply so the super computer decided he was taking too long and decided to bring a few turrets into the chamber. Facing him of course, their bullets would be a perfect incentive for the lazy thief in her facility.
KID swore as he saw the turrets rise up into the room and bolted through the door which promptly closed behind him blocking off the hail of bullets and muffling the turrets childish voices. He knew the GLaDOs would be annoyed if he stayed in the testing tracks for too long, but the warmth of the hard light bridges was too nice to pass up considering how cold the underground facility could get. Anyways, he had work to do, and knew GLaDOs would as soon as kill him with neurotoxin than let him run around the facility. It was only because of the mantis men running around and destroying parts of the facility that he was still alive and not full of bullets or some deadly gas.
