To be the one everyone ignored

Summary: Kelis (Ka-leese) was the girl who nobody ever noticed…until that one day where Draco Malfoy took an interest in her. Was he who she thought he was though?

A/N: I own no one etc. J K Rowling owns all.

Chapter One

Kelis sat in her own compartment at the back of the train, staring at the green fields passing by.

"We are going to sit here, everywhere else is full" Kelis looked up to see Draco Malfoy and a few of his friends piling into her compartment. Kelis was angry that he expected her to just move but one thing about Kelis was she faded into the background and she did not kick up a fuss. Kelis stood up and went to grab her trunk but Draco stopped her.

"We never told you to get out of here. Sit back down" It was more a command than a request but Kelis did as she was told. "So are you new here?"

"I am a fifth year, like you"

"Oh so the little toad knows you, Draco. Mind you, everyone knows you because they envy you" The pug-faced girl sitting next to him chided, moving closer to Draco. Draco rolled his eyes and looked back at Kelis,

"So what house are you in?"

"Ravenclaw"

"Oh house of the nerds. What do you do in that common room? Read?" Draco sneered while the girl laughed. Kelis stood up and grabbed her trunk, moving to the door.

"Oh can't handle it. Got the brains, but not the nerves" Kelis just shook her head and left the compartment hoping to find a better place to sit.

Kelis ran her hands through her shoulder length black hair as the train pulled into the train station.

"Here we are, guys. Another year, exciting stuff" The guy with the blonde hair commented sarcastically. The boy and his friends were all in hufflepuff and were in their second year. There was no other place to sit so Kelis had to sit with them, observing them through her black hair and blue eyes. The three left the compartment and left Kelis sitting there, still staring out the window.

"You had better get off" It was Draco and he was alone. Kelis glared at him but stood up anyway.

"You don't want to be separated from your friends" The pug faced girl walked up and his face turned into a sneer, "Oh right, you don't have any" They laughed cruelly as they walked away from Kelis. Kelis held back the hurt and got off the train, following the crowd to the carriages.

A/N: Just a short start and pretty bad but I'm hoping that it will get better.
