The classical music filled the bunker, the only two inside were pressed together in a slow dance.
Dean's hands placed on Castiels hips his head resting on his shoulder. Castiel held Dean with the same loving touch. Both their bodies swayed back and forth to the soft music.
Dean placed a soft kiss on Castiels neck. "I love you." His voice smooth like honey.
"Forever" Cas finished his voice low but still warm and loving.
Pulling his head off Deans shoulder he looked at the hunter. He had permanent stress lines on his forehead and freckles the swept across his cheeks and over his nose, eyes like emeralds. He was perfect in every way shape and form. Castiel had seen civilizations rise and fall he has watched the world form and he still finds Dean it be the most interesting person he has ever encountered.
He had raised him from hell, putting the man back together, and the second Castiel touched Deans soul he has never been the same.
The first time he met the hunter he was so utterly confused at the turmoil and self sacrifice the man had.
He would follow this man into any war and fight until his last breath, Dean was unlike so many others. He was driven by love, for his friends and family.
He sacrificed himself for the ones he loved and fought with the darkest of beings to keep them safe.
Castiel loved the man he held in his arms, he loved his rough hands that have hardened with a lifetime of hard work.
Cas took his hand off of Deans hip and placed his finger on his chin pulling the hunter closer to place a tender kiss on his lips. He loved the taste of the man he held, Dean was always so tense but when Castiel held him in his arms he could feel the tension leave his muscles and the mans stresses would liquefy. He was soft and loving when Castiel held him, he found peace in himself, as did Castiel.
Both had fought wars with heaven and hell together and in times like this, times of peace, they would find themselves coiled together in the empty bunker.
They had fallen into each other so easily like two puzzle pieces finally finding each other.
But the world would still need saving and people continued to die, they both knew saving everyone was impossible.
But until it was over they knew all they could have were short dances, secret kisses, small glances, and late night meetings. They could not find peace in each other until the world found peace in itself.
Castiel knew this all to well, so he took advantage of their time together and pulled the hunter closer breathing in his earthy smell. placing another soft kiss on the mans lips he smiled.
"Darling lets dance all night." Cas whispered into Deans lips. Dean nodded in agreement letting out a small laugh.
They continued to sway back and forth and they lovingly traded kisses in the dim light of the bunker.
