" I didn't know reunions could be so..."
"Wet?" Scully gave Mulder a look.
Holman and Sheila walked up to them.
"Well, how'd it go?"
"You should try it sometime" Mulder felt embarrassed and hoped Scully not to get what Holman was referring to." Shelia?"
Mulder and Scully watched them Scully faced Mulder. "So…what was that about?"
Damn, she had noticed it. "What was what?"
Scully raised both eyebrows and gave him a you-know-what-I'm-talking-about look.
"Oh, that…er, nothing" Seeing it wasn't enough answer for her, he just added "A guys' thing"
"A guys' thing" she fought a smile. She knew he was hiding something else.
"Yeah" They both nodded. "So, what did you tell Sheila in the bathroom?" He wanted to change the subject.
"Mmmm…nothing really"
"C'mon Scully, you must have told her something to convince her" He knew she was hiding something, too.
"No, er…it was just…a girls' thing"
"A girls' thing"
"Yep"
They both nodded stared at each other looking for further information. Mulder frowned and gave her a distrustful look.
"Well, if you tell me, I'll tell you Mulder" Scully gave him a challenging look. Not hiding her smile any longer.
Mulder thought for a while. They shared and intense gazing, trying to read each other minds. Trying to see who had more to lose. Was she bluffing? She had nothing. Or did she? He didn't dare to bet higher. "So…dance?"
Scully raised both eyebrows, gave him a winning look and turned around to leave without saying a word.
"Hey, c'mon Scully, it wasn't that bad the last time we danced, was it?"
Scully smiled at the memory but didn't turn around neither stopped her way out.
Mulder ran after her like a child wanting to know what he's gonna get for his birthday in advance. She loved him running after her.
