I was just thinking of possible fanfics, and I remembered this idea I had from a while back. It was a lot longer and more detailed than this...but I decided to just leave the good parts up to the imagination. I couldn't decide what rating to give this fic. There isn't really anything T-rated in this, just some implied slash. ^^

It started out like any other day at Mutant High. That is, until the temperature suddenly dropped to -20 degrees F (-28.8 degrees C). "What's going on?" Logan asked as he rubbed his bare arms to warm them. His breath came out in a cloud.

"Bobby?" Storm suggested. They looked at each other for a moment before racing down the hall to Bobby's room.

"Bobby? What's going on? Are you ok in there?" Logan started pounding on the door with his fists.

Bobby's voice sounded. "Shit. I'm fine!"

"What's happening?"

"Everything is ok, I promise."

Storm and Logan looked at the closed door, then at each other, then shrugged and walked away.

The next day dawned bright and sunny and 72 degrees F (22 degrees C), the perfect weather one might say. Then, as if the school had been teleported to the middle of a desert in summer, the temperature shot up to 130 degrees F (54 degrees C). Storm and Logan were met outside John's door (which also happened to be Bobby's as well) by Jean and Scott. "Do you think we should be worried? What if they're fighting or something?"

"John? What's going on?" Logan asked, pounding on the door harder than yesterday. The professor rolled by, trying not to laugh.

It wasn't John that answered but Bobby. "Everything is fine. There is no need to worry."

The teachers sighed and looked at each other. A decision was made. "If it happens again, we'll do something."

The next day started out like the previous two, and, also like the previous two, the temperature fluctuated. Today it jumped from -20 degrees F (-28 degrees C) to 120 degrees F (54 degrees C) and back again every couple of minutes. "Ok that's it," Logan said to the crowd that was gathered outside John and Bobby's room. "I'm kicking down the door."

"There is no need to destroy school property," Storm said, trying to calm Logan down. "We can always get Kurt to teleport in."

"Or Kitty," Jean suggested. "She can walk through walls."

"Well, we have to do something."

"If I were you," the professor said, rolling up to them. "I wouldn't do anything like that. Give the boys their privacy for now. And later, I think you should talk to them Logan."

"Me? Talk to them? Why?" Charles transferred a thought to Logan. "WHAT?!" Logan screamed. "You have got to be kidding me!"
