Chapter 1

The Magical High Introduction

Clink, clonk, clink, clonk, clink, clonk. The royal horses slowed down in front of a huge castle. Carriages went into the front garden from all directions. Each carriage holds either a prince or princess, waiting to get into Magical High. Finally the carriages stopped, and the headmaster was prepared to welcome all of them at his place in front of the main doors.

Footmen hopped down and opened the carriage doors. Princes and princesses came out. Everyone was looking great and royal in their own way. But one pertuitair one caught the headmaster's eye…

Princess Moon stepped carefully out of her carriage. The carriage, among the three other ones, went back into the sky, leaving a trail of stars behind. Princess Moon was wearing a moon-white dress and a glowing white tiara on her forehead. In the middle, was a moon-shaped moonstone.

The headmaster looked away just as the dark ones' carriage arrived. Everyone moved away to be safe from evil. Princess Redfire stepped out first. Redfire was the strongest out of all the evil ones. She wore a black and red gown and black taria. In the middle was a flame-shaped ruby.

The headmaster cleared his voice and boomed, "Princes and princesses, I welcome you all to Magical High!"

Chapter 2

The Leaders

"Each one of you will be given a pixie of your kind to guide you around campus. Since you are here for the first time, all of you will be given 3 weeks off to make new friends, explore the campus, and learn your way around. If you need extra time, just come to my office. When it is meal times, your pixie will guide you to the cafeteria. And at the end of each day, your pixies will guide you to your dorms." the headmaster continued.

''But wait! There is one more thing left. The leaders of the good and evil will be chosen for the whole time you are attending this school. They are chosen by their strength, how powerful they are, and of course how they will be when the become this leaders. Please put your symbol jewels in the glass jar. Don't worry, you'll get it back." The headmaster waited for everyone to put in their symbol jewels in the glass jar.

When all the jewels were inside, the headmaster waves his wand and the jewels all disappeared. "Whoever's jewel comes out first is the leader of good," he gestured to the big group of princesses and princes. "And the evil." he gestured to the group of 10.

The headmaster waved his wand again, and the jar turned from a clear white to a spooky red and black. Evil laughter exploded inside as a flame-shaped ruby flew out. It flew to Redfire as the headmaster shouted, "The leader of the evil is Princess Redfire!" A few people applauded as the jewels of the evil returned to their owners. "It makes sense, she is the strongest out of all the evil." Princess Ocean whispered to Moon as the applause stopped.

"Now for the good…" he waved his wand again and and jar turned from a clear white to a milky white color. Soft music floated out as a moonstone flowed out with it. It gently floated to Moon. Everyone around her applauded as the headmaster announced it. The rest of the jewels appeared and flew back to their owner.

The headmaster motioned for Moon and Redfire to come. Then he said to them, "Princesses, please spread out your wings." Moon's wings were small and was a glowing moon-white color. Redfire's was also small, but was black and red. Then the headmaster grabbed two handfuls of dust and flew above them, sprinkling it on their wings.

Both princesses rose when the dusts settled on their wings. And as they did, their wings changed. There was a cloud of black and red where Redfire was, and a moon appeared where Moon was. When it cleared, Redfire's was changed into black and red butterfly Moon was there with a glowing pair of moon-white butterfly wings on her back.

To the headmaster, everything seemed normal, a normal reaction from the dusts. He didn't know that an evil sprite had switched the wing-changing dust to a different kind of dust…

While Moon was enjoying the feeling of being in the air without using her wings, a red and black bolt hit her. All the good ones gasped as she fell to the ground. The school's nurses brought her to the hospital wing. Then a prince wearing green and a leaf as a leaf symbol jewel followed them.

Guards rushed everyone inside and locked the doors. Then they hurried to bring Redfire down without anyone else getting hurt.

Chapter 3

Prince Greenleaf

Moon opened her eyes to see her old friend, Prince Greenleaf. Greenleaf was a childhood friend and the only one she knows on the ground. He was dressed in green, white, and black and a hint of gold. His crown had a emerald in a shape of a leaf. And true to his name, he was prince of the trees.

Seeing that Moon was awake, he let go of her hand and helped her up. "What happened?" Moon asked in a soft voice. "You been out throughout the day since the ceremony." he replied. He explained about the accident that happened a few hours before. "Redfire and you are stronger than ever before with the dust that changed you. You are now able to have no effect when a regular spell is cast on you. Unless, Redfire casted them or it is a very strong spell." Then Greenleaf saw the expression on Moon's face. "Was that too much?" he asked. Moon nodded, speechless of what she was hearing.

Then there was an awkward moment and no one spoke. Finally, Greenleaf spoke up. "So... There's still a lot of time before dinner. You mind to walk in the garden for a while?" Moon hesitated, then accepted the invite with a nod. As she was nodding, she saw something out of the corner of her eye.

"Are those… Pixies?" she asked. "Oh, I almost forgot about them. Here, princess, this one is your's." He gestured to a little female pixie wearing a white starlight-woven dress and a tiny moonstone hair-clip. "My name is Moonstone, Your Majesty." the pixie said with a giggle. "And this one is mine." Greenleaf gestured to the other pixie wearing a shirt and pants made of leaves and a little leaf hat. "Mossgreen, Your Majesty." he said with a little bow at Moon's direction.

"Well then," Greenleaf cleared his throat after the pixies introduced themselves. "Shall we go on this walk?" Moon blushed but walked out the door with Greenleaf anyways. As they went through the door, Moonstone giggled. A few minutes later Mossgreen looked out the window and smiled, gesturing Moonstone to join him. They both looked out and saw that Moon and Greenleaf was walking out of the front door and into the same garden ahead. The pixies settled themselves on the rug, Moonstone giggling and Mossgreen smiling at the attempt of not giggling as well.

It was a shame though that the pixies didn't see the danger. On one of the ledges of the windows was two pixies, Redfire, and her boyfriend Redstone.

Chapter 4

Danger Incoming!

"Well, today was quite fun." Greenleaf said, yawning. All the princes and princesses went back to their dorms, and all were tired from the excitement that day. Moon looked out her window and saw the first star in the sky. Immediately she missed her home.

Greenleaf came out of the bathroom wearing his royal pjs. It was green and had leave and tree designs on it. Moon had changed into her nightgown, a comfortable dress a color of a dark purple with glowing white stars and a single crescent moon. The pixies said their goodnights and left the room. Greenleaf and Moon said their goodnights and went to bed.

The clock was on a quarter to twelve o'clock, midnight. Everyone was asleep. Everyone, but the evil ones. They had 2 different dorms, the highest towers. The South Tower was for the boys, and the North Tower for the girls. But with Redfire's new magic, she made a secret passage connecting the two towers so they could met up. Then, somehow, Redfire made a secret room under the North Tower. But it was invisible to everyone who looks at it, which they can only see air.

Redfire and her "gang" made a plan that very night. "I am the most powerful in this world," Redfire exclaimed. "We have to get rid of that white princess." So they then quickly and quietly went to Moon's and Greenleaf's dorm. Redfire checked the lock, and it was unlocked. She opened the door and went inside. A few seconds later, she walked out with moon floating in the air behind her. Even though she was moving up and down in the air, she still slept on peacefully. "Fools," muttered Redfire. "They're all fools."

The next morning, Moon was already awake, observing the cell-like room she was in. This room was in a large hall with many of the same cell-like rooms against the wall. Her's was one the two on the side of the wall. And on the other side, was a staircase leading upwards.

Moon suddenly heard footsteps approaching down the stairs. She quickly got up on her feet as Redfire came into view with two of the evil boys with her. One stood guard of the door while the other one stood guard of the room Moon was in. Redfire paused right in front of the glass door of the room and started chanting a spell. When she was done, the door was fully open. Redfire walked in with a grin on her face.

Chapter 4

Moon's Disappearance

Greenleaf was nervous that exact morning. Moon hadn't been in her bed when he woke up. Nor was she there when breakfast was severed. He asked the other princes and princesses if they've seen her. Each "no" and shake of the head made Greenleaf more more more nervous.

Greenleaf did everything he could think of . He had even asked some of the pixies. And at one point, he went to the headmaster.

"Well, she is now the strongest out of your kind. I don't think she would have gotten lost in the school if she had her pixie with her… Maybe you can ask her pixie." The headmaster called in Moonstone and Mossgreen in.

When the headmaster ask about Moon's disappearance, Moonstone answered the question first with a gasp. "I tried to find her this morning. Me and Mossgreen went all over the school looking her Majesty. We even checked-" She turned pale that moment, so Mossgreen continued for her in a whisper. "Just to make sure, we even went to check the dark ones' dorms. The strange thing is that all the pixies were in one dorm, but their owners were not to be found. Even the pixies didn't know where they were. Fire said that they weren't at breakfast either. And even Flame was worried." Moonstone shuddered as he mentioned her old friends' names.

Everything was quiet until Mossgreen rushed out with Moonstone. When they were out, the headmaster spoke again. "I have a feeling that the disappearances of both Moon and the dark ones are somehow related." Greenleaf thought about it, and the vision of Moon surrounded by the dark ones was enough to make him shiver.

Chapter 5

The Great Appearance

By the time the headmaster gathered everyone for the starting of classes, the dark ones had returned, but Moon was still missing. Greenleaf was more worried in the past few days. Even Mossgreen shared his sadness and hardly talked to anyone expect the lonely Moonstone.

The three were almost late to the meeting in the school's grand hall. But when the got there, they found quite a shocking sight. The headmaster and all the other teachers laid unconscious on the platform on top of the stairways at the other side of the hall. The gigantic doors behind them was opened, and there stood Redfire.

The doors closed behind Greenleaf when Redfire flicked her hand, magic erupting from it. Some of the princesses screamed in terror as she laughed. "Hello, everyone! I'm so sorry that I had to postpone the headmaster's little meeting about classes. But I want to show you a little bit of something else than this boring-"

A light-blue icy blot shot towards Redfire, but she simply reflected back towards where it came from with a raise of her hands. The blot hit Prince Icicle, and he went back in the force of the unexpected attack. "Oh, excuse me! I fear we are are going to have to cage things up a bit!" Redfire exclaimed. WIth those words and a flick of her hand, a big cage appeared all around the princes and princesses, trapping them within.

"Need I remind you that I am stronger than anyone now. And before you say that the other princess is stronger, I have something to show you. I think you would like to see what state your princess in."

On cue, the doors opened again, revealing two boy dark ones and a white figure. As they moved closer, Greenleaf realized who the figure was. "Moon," he whispered, as if she could hear him.

Redfire countiuned speaking. "This little girl is now under my command, and soon, I will have her powers. Then I will shall the most powerful person ever! I will soon rule the world!" She laughed excitingly. Then, she went serious. "Even now, I have more power than the headmaster and any teacher here. I prefer you not tell anyone else about my secret, or else I can have the choice to faster drain this princess's energy and power." With a simile, she took a step backwards towards Moon and put a hand on her shoulder. Moon flinched, and after a later, she turned a bit pale and let out a little cry of pain before Redfire let go of her. Moon looked as if she was going to collapse.

Redfire motioned the boys to lead Moon away, and when she turned, Moon stole a glance towards Greenleaf inside the cage, and then looked at her bond hands behind her. Greenleaf saw that the rope was magical, and there was sparks of white springing off of Moon's hands as she tries to break free of it. For a brief moment, Greenleaf could hear Moon's voice inside his head, saying, "Don't try and get me. I'm too weak, and she's too strong." Then she followed the boys out of the doors with Redfire trailing behind them.

When the door closed, the cage disappeared and the teachers and headmaster was up again. The headmaster continued his speech as if nothing had happened. Halfway through the speech, the dark ones bursted in, this time without Moon.

"Well there you are! All of you are quite late. And- wait." The headmaster stopped. "Where are your pixies?" The dark ones pixies flew from behind them and hovered in the air. However, after the headmaster quickly counted them, he realized something. Two pixies were missing. "Redfire, Redstone, where are your pixies?" Greenleaf felt something weird from the couple, like an angry aura erupting from them.

"Their in the room, playing some stupid little game." answered Redstone. Then suddenly, Greenleaf heard something. "Ha! Good lie. They were too honest and, kind. They deserved our punishment from us." It sounded like Redfire's voice, but her mouth wasn't moving, but was in a position of a smirk, as if she was thinking the exact thing Greenleaf had heard. He wondered if she really had thought of it, and somehow he had heard it.

Even after the speech, Greenleaf was still thinking about it. First, he had heard Moon's voice, and then Redfire's. He wanted to report this to the headmaster, so he changed his direction and headed to the headmaster's office. However, he stopped when Mossgreen came out of nowhere and started yelling.

"Greenleaf, your Majesty! Wait!" he gasped, out of breath from flying so hard. When Greenleaf stuck out his hand, Mossgreen gratefully flew down and landed on it. Greenleaf continued to walk towards the headmaster's office while Mossgreen was catching his breath.

Before they reached the office, Mossgreen asked, "Can we have a quick detour to the pixies' hangout?"

"Why?" asked Greenleaf, although he already changed direction and was now headed outside.

"I just wanted to check where Moonstone is. When I left the hall, I didn't see her, and usually she doesn't wander around." replied Mossgreen with a hint of fear in his voice.

Greenleaf stopped suddenly. "Don't you think we should head somewhere else? Putting everything together, I think the evil ones' pixies took her before they left as well." Mossgreen looked confused and horrified at the same time. "Why do you say?" he asked. Greenleaf told him about hearing Moon's and Redfire's voices in his head.

When Greenleaf was done, Mossgreen gasped. "Fire and Flame are Redfire's and Redstone's pixies! They probably didn't want to capture Moonstone because they use to be friends. So maybe Redfire and Redstone…" Mossgreen said.

"The punishment was for them not wanting to do something they wanted?" continued Greenleaf. Mossgreen suddenly flew upwards. "We need to get to our hangout, quick!" he exclaimed and rushed off. Greenleaf immediately followed.

Chapter 6

Prisoner's' View

"You know what? I change my mind. Redfire's not cool. She's just… Cruel." said Flame. Flame and Fire were trapped in the same place Moon was. However, in a different, pixie-sized cell instead. The cell had only a door and a small window, so the pixies really couldn't see much if it wasn't for Fire and Flame's small ability of fire. When the other pixies had left them there, they made a little fire on one of their palms to lighten up the room.

"Exactly. Sometimes I just wonder what would happen if we had a different person to be a pixie for. We always have the evil ones' most powerful one, and the meanest one." said Fire. Suddenly, both pixies heard the futter of pixies' wings, and a familiar voice. The two of them quickly closed their palms and the fires disappeared.

The pixies drew closer and closer until they were right outside the little cell. But by then, the two pixies had already figured out what happened. "They have Moonstone!" exclaimed Fire. As if to prove that she was right, the cell's door opened, and in came Moonstone. Flame caught a glimpse of the other pixies before the door shut again. The three waited until the pixies had gone up the stairs and left them into an eerie silence.

Finally, the pixies saw a fire that had sprouted on Flame's hand. "Fire? Flame? Why are you here?" Moonstone asked in a small, timid voice. They didn't reply. "So you were actually here. That's why you weren't at the meeting this morning?" Still, nothing.

Moonstone took that as a hint and stopped talking. After a long time, Moonstone finally bursted out, "Oh I'm so sorry! I shouldn't have changed my opinion of you two just because you were chosen to be pixies of the evil ones!" Flame and Fire looked back at her is surprise.

"It's fine, a lot of the other pixies think that, too. They think that the Council of Pixies choose us to be the evil ones' pixies, but it's not." said Fire. "We all were worried about the same thing, but the Council told us not to, and that there was a special reason why they choose us." coutined Fire. "They just didn't tell us though…" finished Fire. The silence returned again, and the fire in the pixies' hands was soon just a little flicker of light.
