Hey! How are y'all? Hope the answer's "good" :)
Anyway, first thing I want to say is A GREAT BIG THANKS TO ALL MY REVIEWERS! Thanks for the comments on Betrayal. ;) Ya made me feel great. I hope you like this one too, though it's totally different, and probably will be longer (maybe 3 chaps?). I generally write 1 scene, plotlessstories, but I've taken in the comments I've recieved about shortness so, despite the fact that this is also kinda plotless, it's still longer! Whee!
Last warning: If you are allergic to extreme romantic squishyness STOP NOW!
Oh yes I am unfortunately not the owner of Gravitation. :( This is just fanfiction.
The moon hung on starlight threads, shimmering in the awed eyes staring upwards. Trees carved graceful shadows on the frost curled grass, glittering like black diamonds in the shadow of the temple. Feathery branches caught the pinprick stars as they reached regally for the vast roof of the world. An owl ghosted overhead on silent wings, silhouetted against the huge spread of galaxies spreading so far into the distance.
As the smaller form in his arms shifted and stared up into the miles of silent air above, silver highlights danced in the silky strands of hair drifting across the heart-shaped face. He gazed in wonder at the perfect, parted lips of his slender lover, the smooth skin that was made translucent by the moonlight caresses, the purple eyes deepened to midnight by the night. Each breath floating from the soft mouth hung in the cold air, transforming into thousands of tiny, sparkling crystals.
He wrapped his arms tighter round the warm body pressing against his chest and tucked the thick duvet around his own shivering legs. His breath caught as he felt a weight shift against him, snuggling closer to try to warm his perpetually cold body. He felt smooth locks slip against his neck as a head was tucked briefly under his chin and a kiss softly brushed over his collar bone.
His throat tightened and tears that would never be shed glimmered on his eyelashes as he watched the wonder on the face below him as it turned back to the domed beauty above.
The words that he had so long been unable to say were pulled from his heart by the silent magic of the night. He stared down at the upturned orbs of liquid midnight gazing up at the panorama before them and let the sentence slip over his trembling lips:
"I-I love you."

"A satisfying end to the chapter," Yuki smirked to himself, swallowing the vague lump in his throat.
"I must be coming down with something," he muttered unconvincingly to himself as he forced down the strange pressure.
Pushing back his chair he searched for the routine cigarette-after-finishing-a-chapter. Where were the goddam things? After ineffectually pushing almost every accessory from his desk he unwillingly ventured from his comfortably smog-filled office in the search for much needed nicotine. The first thing he saw on exit was the phone. For some reason he found himself walking towards it.
"What the goddam hell am I doing?" he questioned himself in astonishment as his feet propelled him towards the Nittle Grasper sticker-covered appliance.
As he dialled the number and held the phone to his ear with autopilot controlled fingers, he was still clueless as to what he was doing. It was only when he had put the phone down, floated back to his office and made a note on his desk calendar, that he figured out why he had just arranged to spend a week at his father's temple with Shuichi...
