Hopekit
I run through the forest, blood rushing in my ears. I hear barking behind me look around to see a huge dog and keep running, right over the edge of the gorge. I feel myself smash against the slightly frozen water and try to swim, but give up as jaws grip my scruff.
My name is Hopekit of ThunderClan, named after my small size. I am the only son of Kelpstar, and Lilyfur. I have two sisters, Smokepaw and Fernpaw, they always teased me, and always managed to hurt me during our games, then one day they attacked me, so I defended myself, just as I managed to get on top of them mother walked in. She thought I had attacked them, so my apprenticeship was delayed by three moons. Thats why I'm here, I'm trying to prove that I am good enough to be an apprentice.
I look up, the cat saving me was a silver RiverClan she-cat, she had come to our camp many times with her mentor to talk to Blazemoon, our medicine cat. As I get dragged to the shore I realise that she was the medicine cat apprentice, Featherpaw "Are you okay?" she asks
I cough up some water "I think so." I replied as I watch the dog that had been chasing me rushes by, dead.
"Let's get you back to your camp." She meows
That was seven moons ago. Now I am a warrior, my name is Streamfeather. I requested my 'paw name to be Streampaw after the river that had lead me to Featherpaw –who was now Feathermoon- and my warrior name, Streamfeather, after her. I look up as a familiar silver cat walks into camp, followed by Blazemoon. She smiles at me and I purr, my siblings, Smokelily and Fernblaze, come up to me and swat me over the ear "Stop looking at her. She's a riverclan medicine cat and you're a thunderclan warrior." Smokelily laughs
I hiss and say "Why don't we go hunting?"
"Sure." They say.
We reach the gorge, and I push them over the edge. I feel a purr of satisfaction as I hear a splash and look down to see the lifeless bodies floating down the river. I run back to camp "Smokelily and Fernblaze fell into the gorge! I tried to save them but it was too late!" I cry
Kelpstar comes up to me and wraps his tail around my shoulders "They'll hunt with your mother now." He says
"What! Mama!" I yowl and see her body lying in the middle of camp.
"Feathermoon killed her." Blazemoon meows.
I feel shock pulsing through my body, my darling feathermoon killed my mother! "No-no-no." I say
"I saw you kill your siblings and decided to punish you." Came feathermoons sweet voice behind me
Kelpstar gasps "You killed them! You are here by exhile from thunderclan Streamfeather. You are stripped of your warrior name and are now Stream. Leave now, if anyone sees you after sunrise I give them permission to kill you." I look up to see Paradisestar, riverclans leader next to my father "You are exhiled as well Feathermoon. No Feather now. Same rules apply." She hisses
"Leave!" Yowls Kelpstar and I run out of the clearing, tears running down my face, Feather following me. I turn around and leap at her pinning her down "I loved you!" I growl
"I tricked you!" she purrs, proud of herself. I raise my paw to give her the killing blow, but sink to the ground as she bites my throat.
I wake up to see my mother standing next to me "Starclan has no place for you." She says. I turn around to see my sisters "The dark forest either." they say as they disappear, and I am left alone, in a world of nothing. This is how I will live my life, forever, in darkness. I curl up and start to weep, it wasn't fair!
