Prologue
Lydia Reynolds loves her school. She loves all her friends. She loves everything about her life. Then one day her parents decide that they should move. The place that they move to is nothing like the place where Lydia grew up; the place where she learned everything she knows. This place seems like a different planet to her. People think she is weird. She has a hard time making friends. They think she is an alien. Then one-day Lydia meets Joel Hobson.
Joel Hobson is the most popular guy in school. If you are not on top of the popular list then you DO NOT talk to him unless he talks to you first. If he talks to you first then DO NOT talk back because he is insane. He must of hit his head. In this town popular people do not notice unpopular people. They do not talk to them. Or even look at them. If you are not popular you do not have the right to look at popular people. You cannot talk to them or do ANYTHING. No one in this town cares about the segregation. The teachers always know not to partner popular people with the unpopular people.
So when Lydia Reynolds moves to this town she is completely flabbergasted about the segregation going on. She is not use to it. She is surprised that no one will do anything about it. So when she makes a move toward Joel Hobson everyone in that lunchroom almost passed out. Then you add the reaction that comes from Joel, himself to that. Geeze! That is a lot of drama that is going on.
