A/N - I don't own anything affiliated with this story. Trust me, I wish I owned the OC, really, I do, lol. Have fun, and hopefully you get who the people are at the end.

He never moved his gaze from her as he moved across the room towards her. Truthfully, he didn't know what was motivating him to do this. Was it the hand that seemed to keep a hold of him? Or was he doing everything of his own free will? Truthfully, he doubted it was the last one, because this wasn't the type of thing he was used to doing. Whatever it was, it washy stopping. He just kept getting closer and closer to her.
She was gorgeous. The way her skin was flawless. The way her hair shined. The way she laughed, and the way they could talk. She even laughed at some of his most ridonkulous jokes he told. No one else around here understood him in the slightest. But she did. Now, if only he could get her to see that they were meant to be, like he did.
He finally stopped beside her. Tilting his head down, he tried to swallow, but couldn't. Whatever was in his throat was fully stuck. Instead, all he could get out was one word. "Hey..." Even that one word, though, after he finally got it out was whispered. And to his surprise, she spoke back, her own voice staying as a whisper to his ears.
"Hey..." His eyes moved around the room real fast, wondering why there both whispering. Sure, two other people were in the room. And ok, so what if they were sitting close by. But they were too busy nuzzling onto each other's necks to see, let alone hear, what was going on beside them. Instead of letting it bother him anyone, he quickly brought his gaze back to the wonderful girl that sat beside him.
Of course, the others might not be able to understand what they were saying. It wouldn't surprise him in the least bit. He was, after all, a horse. "So..." He started again to her. His wonderful mate. His Princess Sparkle. And he was her Captain Oats.
