Just something I thought up in History class.

Ode to Allen

You grin brightly,

And our hearts melt.

You get hungry,

And we tighten our belts.

Your eyes get teary,

And ours do too.

You feel our pain,

Just as we do.

You smile softly,

And our hears ache.

You hid your pain,

For our sake.

You hold no grudges,

And we wonder why,

After all that's happened,

You still try.

You hear the word 'debt,'

And we give you space.

We twiddle our thumbs,

When you make that face.

Keep moving forward,

Never looking back.

Not unless,

We tie you up in a sack.

Your world is made up of,

Darkness and Light,

And it's by your side,

That we wish to fight.
