(Maka's Pov)
"Soul, I'm home with the supplies!" I shouted to my weapon partner. I placed the items we needed on the table wondering where the hell he had run of to. Anyway, time to sort the supplies, candles and lighters go there,water goes in the basement, pasta and caned soup goes in the pantry, books go in my room, and bored games go in the living room. Yup if you haven't guessed it hurricane sandy is paying a visit to Death City and Soul and I need to be ready this time. Oh my death, I do not want to relive Irene the power was on and off for five days and it got to the point where we had to stay with Kim and Jackie for an entire afternoon just for entertainment (that actually happened to me lol). As walked upstairs I found that idiot asleep on his desk. He was supposed to do the laundry early in case the water got contaminated! I sighed and pulled out my dictionary.
(Soul's Pov)
I woke up to a book slamming in to my skull. Crap! I was a sleep longer than planed. Better get stared on the laundry before I get chopped again. Sighing, I stood up and grabbed my headband and the laundry basket. Maka was starting dinner-pogresso for two. Yum. As I finally finished the laundry as if by magic the power went out "Soul! Are you okay? I'll light some candles!" Maka shouted from upstairs. "Yeah I'm fine Maka I'm just gonna finish the laundry and set up a bored game." I walked over to the table,"Monopoly or Don't wake daddy?" (Those are my two favorite bored games) "Monopoly!" She responded coming back with cream of asparagus soup for two. (My favorite) Then the sight I saw next was so amazing I almost fainted she was wearing a tight Green Day tee shirt that actually DIDN'T make her look as flat as a bored and denim short shorts. Please don't have a nose bleed please don't-too late. "Uhh...I HAVE TO GO PEE!" I shouted running to the bathroom before she noticed the blood. After I uh...cleaned up, I sat back down and we played for what only seemed to be 5 minutes. It turned out to be 4 hours. We stopped playing at 12:00 and sandy had arrived and destroyed half the town already. "Well we better hit the hay" I said, she nodded in agreement and as I stared up the stairs she called my name. "Soul...Thanks this was fun" "Uh...your welcome" I Said hiding the blush. Was this just me or is this the beginning of love?
