I Completely Love You

Sharpay opened the door, not believing her eyes. "Troy?"

The boy she was in love with her whole life smiled sheepishly at her, "Hi."

She just stared at him, not knowing what to say or do. "What are you doing here?" She opted with the most easiest question.

"I had to see you, I miss you –"

The blonde sighed, feeling her heart start to break all over again. "How did you know where to find me?" The only people who knew where she was now living was her parents and her brother. She already had a feeling about who gave her up.

Troy looked around, "I kind of begged Ryan..."

She was right.

Finally she decided she needed to say something. This whole situation was completely wrong. Troy Bolton was not supposed to standing in the doorway of her apartment. And even though she wasn't a teenager anymore she couldn't help but feel everything she did for him when she was one. "This is supposed to be my new life, Troy. I don't want to be reminded of high school. I can't have my heart broken all over again. I can't keep comparing myself to her. I can't keep having you run back to her when all she did was run from you." Her voice was shaking incredibly towards the end and she was wondering if he even understand what he said. By the look in his eyes he did. He looked so guilty and Sharpay hated that too. She just wanted to keep on pretending that Troy Bolton never existed. It was much, much easier that way. "I loved you more than she ever did." She put her hand over her mouth not believing what she had just said. She hadn't meant to. It had just slipped out.

"Sharpay, I'm so sorry," he breathed, reaching for her hands, but she pulled them out of the way. He sighed, but kept talking. "I know it's too late now, but I've realised a lot now and it's you Sharpay. I want to be with you."

She just shook her head, looking down as the tears finally fell. She had heard this all before. Even if his voice did sound different and he had never quite looked this serious – all the doubtful voices in her head resurfaced and told her that it would just be like before. She couldn't get hurt. Not again. Not ever. She could have – she should have taken a chance, but she just couldn't. Not yet.

It took her a moment, but she brought her head back up and looked right at him. She was Sharpay Evans. Composed. Confident. Brilliant. She had to get over this. It was pathetic. She had broadways and a musical career to focus on. "I'm not going to be anyone's second choice, Troy."

She slammed the door shut in his face and once she heard his footsteps walk away she slid down the door and drew her knees into her chest. She buried her head into them. It didn't matter how many times she tried to tell herself that, it wouldn't matter.

She would always, completely be in love with Troy Bolton. And she had just ruined everything.

End.

A/N: So I don't even know where this came from. Basically, I was making a graphic for tumblr and got inspired. I love these two so much. Let me know what you think
