::Can't you see?::

::We are meant to be.::

::In a way you and me,::

::Together and forever be.::

A man sat down on the grass. His hair was outstanding everything in its way. It was almost as bright as the sun. A sun on the night, which never dies from the western skies.

After a while, he lies down. He closed his eyes but open them up again as soon as he heard something moving. He looked at the tree in his right. There was a silhouette watching over him. He grunted and closed his eyes again.

"Don't hide. I know you're there." The blonde whispered with a hint of angriness in his voice.

The man behind the tree slowly walked out of the shadows of the tree. He made these funny noises with his feet.

"Urusee…" The blonde muttered. The man stopped. After a while, he started walking faster.

As he got out of the shadows of the tree… The moonlight hits him, showing a thin but gorgeous feature of the young man's body. The man stopped in front of the blonde. He sits down beside him. They remained silent and remained like statues of the night.

The other man moved and slightly faced the blonde's body.

"You'll get a cold." He whispered and the blonde shrugged. The other man slowly lies down on his back beside the blonde. He stared at the crescent moon. His emerald eyes shines as the moon makes it brighter.

::This sereneness that surrounds our body,::

::Will forever might be our sanctuary.::

::And in these nights of darkness,::

::I wish you would come and hold me.

The other man turned to his side so his back would face the blonde. He frowned. Tears started to form within his emerald eyes. He kept on holding it back. No sooner than a second it fell. He did not want to sob but they came out. It did not make much noise but it seems the wind is not cooperating.

Suddenly, he felt two hands in his back. Followed by a head that leaned onto him.

"Gomen." The hands slowly slipped away and so he turned to face violet eyes.

Violet eyes were questioning emeralds. The blonde's hand moved up to the other man's cheeks. He wiped the tears off of the other one's face. Emerald eyes smiled.

"Aishiteru yo, Sanzo." He smiled. The blonde closed his eyes and gave out a relieved sigh.

"Don't exceed my patience, Hakkai…" Sanzo replied. Hakkai stood up and Sanzo quickly opened his eyes to follow him. As soon as Hakkai was standing straight, he bent down and gave out a hand to Sanzo… of course, with a smile.

Sanzo took Hakkai's hand and stood up. Hakkai raised their hands in front of them. Sanzo looked at their hands as Hakkai twined it with each other. He looked up at Hakkai and raised an eyebrow. Hakkai smiled at him and he slowly dropped their hands by their side.

"Let's go back to bed. It's cold out here." Hakkai whispered as he walked towards the hotel but… Sanzo pulled him back. He stared at the blonde one.

::Never ending promises you made,::

::Which will never be replaced.::

::And as you held my hand with yours,::

::I will be here until we end our course.::

"Hakkai… You… don't…" Sanzo mumbled. Hakkai already knew what Sanzo was trying to say. He moved towards the blonde.

He lets go of the Sanzo's hand. He raised his hands and hugged Sanzo.

"I won't leave you. That's a promise." Hakkai whispered. He lets go of him and looked straight to the blonde's eyes.

"Understood?" He sarcastically asked. Sanzo nodded. Hakkai leaned over to Sanzo and let his lips touch Sanzo's.

He then moved away and smiled at the slightly shocked Sanzo. He smiled. He turned around and walked again… but this time Sanzo took his hand with his and followed him on his way back to their room.
