That my mom might be in the hospital for a while now and might take therapy.
You: "Does she have any broken bones?"
Doctor: "Yes thank you for reminding me, your mother has a broken collar bone and a fractured rib"
I sat in silence until my dad came in.
Dad: "Hey guys sorry im here late i has problems with the emergency nurses."
He said with very little breath.
You: "Perfect timing mom just woke up."
Dad: "Wait...who's this boy???"
You: "Your son-in-law."
Daniel puts his hand out, signaling your dad if he wanted to shake his hand, but my dad rolled his eyes.
You: "Dad! Be nice!"
Daniel: "He does-"
You inturupted saying
You: "No he has to be nice your his son-in-law"
Dad: "Sorry i have a lot on my mind right now, usually i dont let my daughter date young men but i'll let it pass this time, but if you hurt her, i'll hurt you"
Daniel: " I take this oath and will never hurt your daughter by heart."
Dad: "im liking your boyfriend already."
We all laughed and then mom started moving so we immediatly checked on mom and she was falling asleep. So i shushed everyone. It was night i had to stay with my mom for the night.
