So, hey this my very frist time writing anything on ' '! I got to say i love this website, and really glad i finally made an account. I guess I am going to start with a small story about... what ever comes to mind. Hope you enjoy please, please, please review I would love to know what you think it would me a lot, thank you!. By the way this is very important i am starting with the book "Leviathan" by Scott Westerfled. Note: I own nothing I am not Scott nor will i ever be, all the credit goes to that amazing man.
The married couple has been together for years with on single question hanging over their heads. Deryn look up at her husband with loving eyes as he gently put his hands on her swollen belly, with a small smile on his face as he felt the little baby inside his wife move. "You look deathly pale like your ready to faint. What, have you never felt a baby kick before?" she said in a teasing voice as he started to stand.
"Well actually I really haven't i was my mother's only child. She of-course could have had another child if her and father wanted, but then that dreadful night came, and well..." Alek's voice faded as he remember the night, the night his parents died. The very thing that started the war Alek and Deryn knew all to well.
Deryn, who went extremely quite at the fact that he was willing to bring up the war, look up and feeling as brave as ever, ask the question that been on her mind for years. "Where do you think you will be now. I mean if we like never met, or never fell in love."
Alek step back in shock at the question, but he too has had that thought in his head to and tried to answer as truthfully as possible. " I am not sure, I am most positive that I would have been Emperor for awhile, but then the Austria-Hungary empire would have fallen, and I would have been a dead man, and not a man holding his wife close and waiting on their child to complete the family. And What about you, where would you think you would be?"
Deryn thought for a while with a smirk on her face who would have thought he could come up something so vague. deciding not to make a big deal out of it, she answered with this " Well I am bloody sure my secret would have been found out, and I would be in jail for the rest of my barking life, that is where I would be." she answer over dramatically.
Alek laugh at that " I highly doubt that my dear, you see you are so smart and cunning that I believe everyone will still see you as a man, and that, "man" I will bet my life would be a captain. The Captain of the Leviathan, to be exact."
"Fine then, I bet you would not be dead, but alive with many children and a loving wife. Aye that's about right, not to mention, that you have to choose which one will be heir, and you are having quite a tough time." She said that with a smile, but you can see the sadness in her eyes as she thought of that life for Alek.
Alek smile disappeared "Why do I get the bitter-sweet ending, While you are off happy having aventures?"
Deryn stay silent for a while and decided to answer with a quote from Borvil "Because" she said with a grin "Emperors are vain and useless things."
Well... *sigh* It's done what do you think, you like it, yes? Trust me I don't mind if you don't I rushed with this, and procrastinated a lot. Please review tell me what you think and how to improve. I am planning to post more so if you like, then just wait.
