Ever wonder how at the end of Ender's Game, Ender destroys the Bugger home world and then when he arrives there fifty years later, there are plants and trees and more importantly, there's the giants decomposed body and the bugger hive queen's egg? I thought that by using the Dr. Device, the entire molecular structure of the planet was completely taken apart and then pulled together by the remaining gravity of the planet. Ever wonder?
Well wonder no more! I know how it works! You remember Jane from Speaker for the Dead, and then in Xenocide, she helped them do faster then light speed travel? And also how she can't remember her past before she finally met up with Ender? Well… I suspect that she used that faster then light thing and took the egg and the giant's corps and everything out of the planet as it was being destroyed then put them back after it was drawn back together.
What do you think of my theory? If you agree e-mail me at ironic_fire@hotmail.com, and if you disagree and have direct proof from Orson Scott Card himself that I'm wrong, see above e-mail address.
Finally, I'm going to shamelessly plug my web page, usually.keenspace.com. don't go to it yet, but visit it in about a month an It'll have a lot of stuff up. Hee Hee.
