Doubly Drenched

The Winchester brothers fell across the motel room threshold, relieved sighs bursting collectively past their lips. Both were soaked, Dean's shorter hair sticking up in porcupine-ish spikes while Sam's longer hair was mashed flatly against his head. Water dripped from their chins and fingertips.
"Thank God," groaned Dean. "A warm bed. And it's calling my name." He toed off his boots, grabbed a towel, began to strip.
"You want the shower first?" asked Sam.
"Last thing I want is more water running over me."
He dived under the covers and was asleep before Sam exited the bathroom ten minutes later.
