He leaned down to kiss her. It was a kiss to end all kisses. She wrapped her arms around his neck, clinging to him. Soon, much to soon, he unwrapped her arms from around his neck and walked away. Hermione's heart broke as she watched the only boy she had ever loved walk away from her. She walked over to her wizard wireless and turned it on. An older song was playing by a muggle band called Zack Attack.

Draco apperated to his house and turned on his wizard wireless, listening to the same song Hermione was listening to, though he didn't know it. As he continued to listen he realized that it perfectly it described his relationship with Hermione. He had never wanted to break up with her, it was just that he couldn't stay with her. It wasn't safe for her. At least not at this point.

Hermione started to cry, and cry hard. This song was so right with what she was feeling, it seemed like it was written just for her. She looked over next to the wireless and saw a picture taken of her and Draco, when they were back at Hogwarts. They looked so happy and carefree. She could hardly believe that her relationship with Draco was really over. It just wasn't fair.

Draco sat down on his bed, resisting the strong urge to go to Hermione's house and beg her to take him back. He loved her, but he couldn't stay with her. He would not put her in danger. He just couldn't. He was doing it to protect her. He hated that she thought it was her fault. He clung to the small hope that one day, they would be together again.

Sad story, I know. I just wanted to write another story besides my multi chapter story. I had listened to this song earlier , and it's my favorite, and I thought, Hey, this would be a perfect Dramione song. So it just kinda wrote itself.
