The tall, dark haired boy entered the girls' bathroom. He did not hear the crying of the girl in the stall behind him as he approached the sink with the snake etched on it. He spoke slowly in Parseltongue, opening the Chamber and calling out the Basilisk.
Just then Myrtle unlocked her stall, a shout on her lips. The Basilisk's eyes bore into hers, and then she was gone.
Tom turned and looked at the girl on the ground, dead. She had always been very annoying, and a mudblood, so he was pleased that she was dead. Excited that his plan was unfolding nicely, Tom turned to the great snake to say, "That was an unexpected plus…"
And he died.
