Never had she felt so alone. It was so cold that the sun didn't even matter. It went on shining like nothing was wrong. Shivering and upset, the pink haired woman wrapped her arms around herself to try and keep warm. Tears were forming in her eyes and threatened to spill over. How had she gotten to this point? What was to become of her? Did anyone even know she was missing?

~Flashback~

"Sakura-chan, I need you for a solo mission that will last a couple of months." the Hokage stated with his trademark goofy grin. The pink haired ninja nodded at her ex-team mate turned Hokage. The goofy grin faded from Naruto's lips as he suddenly became serious.

"Sakura-chan, you know as well as I do that Sasuke is still out there. What I want you to do is head towards the Land of Snow to gather information on where he might be. We know he is traveling alone now that Orochimaru, Madara, Itachi, and the Akatsuki have been defeated. If you encounter him though… PLEASE, Sakura-chan… Don't engage him in battle. Don't try and force him back with you… I know that is odd coming from me… But I can't lose you too."

Sakura couldn't help but smile. She loved Naruto like a brother and would never abandon him like Sasuke had done to their team five years ago. She nodded at him in understanding. "Don't worry, Naruto. I won't do anything rash."

The Hokage grinned at her and nodded. "Your dismissed! You leave in an hour!" With that Sakura headed to her apartment to pack. Within the hour she had everything she needed and headed out of the village. She had made sure to dress warm when she got closer to her destination. However, she didn't expect what was to happen to her.

Before she had a chance to react she was attacked. Thieves, thugs, and rogue ninjas ganged up on her. No matter how hard she fought them all, they got the better of her. They took nearly everything from her but the clothing that was on her. She wandered during the night and slept during the day in any warm place she could find. She had managed to heal herself to the point no one would have ever known she had been attacked.

One day she collapsed to her knees before a broken and snow covered mirror that was leaning against a building.

~End Flashback~

With her eyes shut tightly trying to hold back her tears, she shivered in the cold. Little did she know her savior was watching her. Had she looked into the mirror next to her, she would have known.

"…Sakura…"

Startled, the pink haired woman looked up. Startled emerald green eyes met blank cold onyx eyes. "Sasu-"

She was unable to speak his name fully when he moved forward, removed his cloak and wrapped it around her. Concern came into his eyes as he looked into hers. He wrapped his arms around her to help her get warm. They sat there by the mirror for several minutes. Sasuke running his hands up and down her arms trying to keep her warm, and Sakura leaned into his embrace with a tiny smile on her lips.

When the snow started to fall, the Uchiha picked her up bridal style and carried her to a small cabin. It was warmed by a simple space heater. She was asleep when he laid her on the bed and covered her with all the blankets he had. He then moved to a small desk, sat down, took out a pen and paper, and started to write a note. When he was done he went outside and called a raven down. He tied the small scroll to it's leg then sent it off to it's destination.

~Two Days Later In Konoha~

Naruto was suddenly startled from eating his ramen at Ichiraku's as a raven landed on the table next to him. He was surprised when it held out it's leg to him. Setting his chopsticks down, Naruto took the scroll off the bird's leg, opened it, then smiled.

"Dobe,

I'm bringing Sakura home.

Sasuke"
