WAR
Pools of blood and human waste blanket the earth
Cries of pain and shouts of victory cover my ears
This is the price for what power is worth
With all these horrific events I have lost all my fears
I can not believe what is cast among my eyes
But I know all these dead bodies are the truth
There is no award for them, not even a prize
I hear an explosion followed with cries of hurt, I must sleuth
To no surprise I see more pain and lost souls
This can not be replaced in any way
As I continue my dreadful strolls
I hold my head up high to God and pray
