Here's a little story I wrote for my creative writing class a while back. This is the second time I've posted it, due to the fact it was taken down for some reason. I think because it didn't get any reviews, so, review! XD
"Hey, what are you doing?" My five year old sister asked me getting all up in my face. I rolled my eyes and pushed her away. "What are you doing? What are you doing?Leah! What are you doing!" she cried irritatingly. While I had to use every ounce of strength to not earth bend her into a wall, I almost did to.
"Del!" I yelled. She stopped and looked at me. "Go away!" I said emphasizing each word.
"Mom!" Del screamed, running into our house. I yelled stomping on the ground and accidentally sending a rock flying at are satomobile. I cringed and stalked off toward my favorite book store. Where I could work on my news article in peace. Del should have known I was trying to write my article about the new avatar. I mean seriously! It's the only thing I've been talking about for the last week.
Walking by the pro-bending arena I saw my friends Mako and Bolin.
"Hey, guys!" I called, waving to them. They waved back and I ran over to them.
"Hey you two what's up?" I asked.
"Were you listening to our match last night?" Bolin asked.
"No, Del wanted to listen to her favorite show. The little princess always gets her way." I huffed.
"Well, I think we can get you some help with your article about the avatar." Bolin sang. Mako rolled his eyes, at least I wasn't the only one who had to deal with annoying siblings.
"How?" I asked. Bolin opened his mouth to answer, but was interrupted by a girl running over to him and Mako.
"Hey guys, we ready to start practice?" she asked, then noticed me." "Who's your friend?" she asked.
"Korra this is Leah. Leah, Korra." said Mako. Woah what! Korra, as in flipping Avatar KORRA! As in can bend all four elements. My eyes widened and think I heard myself squeal.
"Avatar K-korra" I managed to stutter, making myself sound like a complete idiot.
"Hey" she said waving. Holy shit the avatar just talked to me!
"Why don't we go practice for our next match." suggested Mako walking into the pro-bending arena.
"Leah, why don't you come join us." Korra said following Mako inside. I caught up to Korra and decided to start up a conversation.
"So Avatar Korra" I started.
"You can just call me Korra" she said. Oh my god! I'm on a first name basis with the Avatar!
"Okay, Korra" I said, squealing like a crazed fangirl in my head. "So, uh, Mako's pretty hot." I said like a complete dumbass. She stopped in her tracks and just kinda looked at me with a what-the-hell look.
"Are you on something?" she asked me. "Have you had some yellow shrooms or turtlegrass?" she asked.
"What no!" I cried defensively. "I'm just saying. He's like a fiery hot tamale drenched in hot sauce with perfect abs on the side!" I cried.
"I think we should go to the hospital, you are obviously on some sort of hallucinogenic drug of some sort." she said.
"You two would make such a cute couple." I said squealing. Wow, maybe I was on drugs.
"Okay, you are definitely on drugs." She said. "Hey, guys!" She called after Mako and Bolin. "We'll be back." She told them. Then grabbed my arm and pulled me out the exit and toward the nearest hospital.
Where it turns out I was on drugs, and being a minor I was charged 8,128 yen, my mom was going to kill me. But who cares, I meet the Avatar!
