Scenario: Reid/Rossi; "Why do I put up with you?" A asks the question; B gives the answers.

Spencer was beyond aggravated and he wasn't sure what he was going to do about it. He would love nothing more than to go and confront the person responsible for his aggravation but that wasn't how he was. Although he was thinking it was about time to change that. He may not like confrontations but he couldn't take much more.

With that thought in mind he stood up from his desk and walked up the stairs and into his current tormenters office and demanded "Why do I put up with you?"

Dave looks up from his computer and shakes his head as he sees Spencer standing right inside his office. "Come on in Spencer and shut the door. I don't think this is a conversation you want everyone to hear."

Spencer nods and then shuts the door before turning back towards Dave and saying once more "Why do I put up with you?"

Dave chuckles a little and gets out of his chair and walks around his desk and puts his hands on Spencer's shoulders. "Well Spencer you put up with me because you love me. Now what have I done to make you ask me that question?"

Spencer shook his head. "Dave, I love you and you know it but you can't keep sheltering me. I would have been fine going in with Emily today to get the UNSUB but you nixed that idea in the butt. Why can't you let me do my job?"

Dave sighed and bent his head brushing his lips across Spencer's softly. "I couldn't let you do it Spencer because I was afraid that I'd lose you. I will try my hardest I promise not to keep doing it. It's just I finally have you in my life, in my arms and in my bed and I'm so afraid that I'll lose you. I never expected to feel this way but yet I do. I love you Spencer. I'm sorry that I made you feel as if I didn't trust you to do your job."

This time it was Spencer who sighed. "I love you too Dave but please cool it with the over protectiveness. I want to be with you but I also want and need to be able to do my job. I promise that I will take every precaution necessary to come out of it unscathed but you can't keep me from doing my job because in the end if you do that is why you are going to lose me."

Dave nodded and once again his head descended and he pressed his lips to Spencer's in a heated but tender kiss before pulling back. "Alright baby I'll work on getting better at being over protective. I just love you so much. Are you almost done so we can head home?"

Spencer smiled and nodded. "Yes, I just have one more file to finish up. I'll be ready in the next twenty minutes. And Dave, I love you too."

With that Spencer walked out of his lover's office and back to his own desk. He couldn't believe how well it went.
