Tetris Blocks

"Hmmm... it's been pretty quiet." The green L Block admitted.
The yellow square block simply scoffed in response. "Gee, what makes you think that?"
L Block shrugged. "Well, it's just the fact that there's nothing going on. We've been falling down this gorge for who knows how long."
"Oh, who cares?" The red line block remarked as it went by the L Block and square block. "Just go with it. It'll be over soon."
And then all the blocks landed on top of the other blocks, with the blocks all shaking violently as they toppled over each other, crumbling apart as they began tumbling down, each of them screaming in pain as they bumped into each other and broke apart, with more blocks from above coming down to pour on them.
It was not a good night to be a Tetris block.
"Let's be honest, the author just popped this out because he needed to write something tonight," A blue zigzag block admitted as it was crushed underneath all the other blocks, with the three blocks talking earlier being on top of it.
And then the entire screen got resetted, with nothing but pure pitch black replacing the scene.
