A/N: We all noticed that split second where Andy placed his hand on Sharon's neck and was bent down above her, like he kissed her. However, it's easy to see the scene was cut, so I felt the need to fill in the blanks of what happened in the part that was cut.
"Holy crap! Holy crap!" They heard Mike's voice echoing in the command unit and they both looked at the big screen, curious and anxious to discover what Mike discovered. Sharon all but jumped up when he announced the burner phone went back online and was in the vicinity of Reverend Price's church. Buzz left the command unit in order to document the potential find with his camera, and as Sharon gave her team orders through the microphone, she heard Andy's chair creaking under his weight as he got up to join the rest of the team in their search for the burner phone. Placing her hand on his arm, she looked upwards and caught his gaze. His eyes were warm and determined at the same time and she felt her heart feeling with pride at his sense of duty, even though she never doubted any of the members in the Major Crimes unit lacked it.
"Stay safe, Andy," she said, her voice thicker than she intended it to sound. Bending down, he pressed his lips to her hairline. His palm rested gently against the nape of her neck, his thumb caressing her hair ever so slightly.
"I promise," he said and she replied with a breathless 'okay' before he left the command unit to join the rest of the squad. Sharon closed her eyes for a swift moment and took a deep breath. She couldn't let the manic beats of her heart and the heat that was flowing to the spot where Andy's lips touched distract her from the operation.
"Okay," she said to herself as she opened her eyes and focused her gaze on the screens. Tonight she will finally let him know how she feels about him, she thought, but now, she had an important operation to command.
