His eyes!

RDA: don't own anything and sorry I haven't been writing my parents are getting a divorce and my grandmother died and I found all this out a week before I left for Asbury University….yea great way to start college right?

I wonder if he knows what those gray eyes do to me? The beauty held in them and the lust I feel when he glances at me! But if he knew the hate that would fill those eyes would break my heart into too many pieces to even count so I must stay away. I must hide my own eyes and not look into those beautiful eyes of his.

I wish it could all be different I wish he could be mine. But my eyes are not as beautiful as hers. I wish I could see him one last time. To see those eyes look into mine.

My heart is breaking as I watch him. He fingers her necklace as I watch. I wanted him to want me too. I should have known that a she-elf would suit him better than plain me. I sigh and watch his eyes as they worriedly look around us. The coming battle is worrying him greatly. He though was not worried for himself he was worried for everyone else. Thus I must worry for him.

I touch his shoulder and his eyes meet mine. I smile to reassure him that everything was going to be okay. Aragon smiled at me and I knew that I was lost and in love with him. I also knew that I would never get the chance to be with him.

That night after the battle I sat on the edge of the wall looking out at the darkness. My heart was heavy with guilt because I knew I was jealous for Aragorn. I look down in to the rock beneath me. My heart is breaking. I feel the wetness slip down my cheeks. I can't believe that a mere mortal would make me fall this far into love. I felt anger well inside my heart but I let it go quickly because I could never hate Aragorn for loving someone. As long as he was happy.

Aragon walked slowly towards the elf. He knew something was wrong with the elf. He just didn't know how to fix it.

The sight that Aragorn saw surprised him more than anything. He saw the tears streaking his beautiful face. Aragorn felt his heart crumble a bit.

"Legolas…" Aragorn whispered.

Legolas jumped and turned as he whipped his tears away.

"Estal..." Legolas said as he tried to compose himself.

"What is wrong with you" Aragorn asked as he walked closer.

Legolas debated with himself for a few moments.

"I love you and your eyes are watching someone else. I will never hold my heart." Legolas said as he stood on the edge.

The elf made the movement to jump but Aragorn intervened and caught the elf.

"I love you too why couldn't you see this?" Aragorn said softly.

Legolas looked deep into Aragorn's eyes and saw nothing but love.
