"Ron." Hermione said. Ron knew how to use a telephone now, so she had called him.
"What?"
"This is Hermione. I need to talk to you,"
"OK, go ahead. I'm right here." Ron wondered what could possibly be wrong.
"I know you hate Viktor, but I have no one else to turn to. I would've called Harry, but I know the Dursleys would kill him. If you're busy or something I'll just call you later or something or try to think of someone else to call or-"
"No! It's fine. What's this about Krum? Stupid git! If he hurt you I'll-"
"Stop Ron, just let me talk, OK?" Hermione interjected, before Ron could make his threat.
"He invited me to visit him over the summer, so I went, 3 days ago. I was going to stay for a week. Everything was going fine, until today." At this point, Hermione's voice was a little shaky and she had to stop and breathe.
"Sorry. Anyway, today we were talking, and he asked me what my feelings for him were. I said I wasn't sure at this point because I don't really know him that well yet. He got mad and said he didn't want to waste his time if we weren't going anywhere with our relationship. I said getting to know each other wasn't a waste of time. Then, you know what he said? He said the only worthwhile way of getting to know each other was, well, physically . You know what I mean, right? So I told him to find another girl to get "physical" with, because I sure as hell wasn't going to. I called my mother then, and asked to come home immediately. When I got back home, I just really needed to talk to a friend, which is why I called you. "
Ron, who had been sitting in silent fury at Krum, suddenly burst.
"He said WHAT ?!? Now I really am going to kill him, the slimy git, the idiotic...idiot! I can't believe he had the nerve to say something like that!" And he was my favorite quidditch player too, he thought.
"I know. But I'm just happy I broke up with the creep before it got serious. Also, Krum asked me another question while I was there, before all of this happened. He asked me if I liked someone else. He said he could 'sense it', whatever that means. I said that I might have feelings for another guy," Hermione said, hesitantly.
Ron's ears perked up.
"But I told him I didn't think that the person would ever like me. He said that he could tell by the way this person looked at me, that they did like me. Which is another reason why I'm calling you, Ron."
"And that reason would be..." said Ron, kind of confused by everything Hermione had just said.
"Well, I just wanted to finally admit, that well, I like you Ron. As more than a friend. I think you are a kind, brave, wonderful person, even though I fight with you a lot. I think I might love you," Hermione said the last words in a small voice.
Ron couldn't speak from utter shock, and Hermione missunderstood the silence.
"Well, I suppose I'll be going now," she said through tears.
"No! Wait. I think I might love you too, Hermione," Ron said, slowly.
"Really?"
"Yes. I've loved you since that time in 2nd year, when you were petrified. That's when I realized how much I needed you," Ron answered.
"Oh, I'm so happy Ron! Well, I really do have to be going now, but I'll call you tomorrow, alright?"
"Alright,"
They hung up. Ron couldn't wait for tomorrow.

So what did you think? I kinda just came up with that whole story in like 20 minutes, and I'm not sure if I like it. I think maybe it was a little weird near the end or something. Well, please review! If you liked it that's great. But if you hated it, just don't be too mean ok? :-)
