Prompt: Home
"Hmmmm, nice," Lindsay moaned happily, as Danny massaged her neck. The subway ride home seemed to take forever, especially since the subway had now stopped and she was so, so tired.
"Very nice," Danny agreed as he pressed a series of short kisses across her neck.
"Don't get too frisky. We aren't home yet."
"Don't remind me," he said, "Triple shifts and then the subway breaks down. Who gets stuck on a subway for an hour in the middle of the night?"
"We do," she said, "Why did the massage stop?"
"Sorry," he said, his hands moving again, "Still, it was fun working a case together again. Ever since we got married Mac's been pulling his whole separation crap."
"He just wants to make sure we stay focused. You know how I distract you."
He chuckled, "Right."
She turned her head slightly and glared at him, "Are you saying I don't distract you? Am I not the prettiest girl in New York?"
"The prettiest girl in the world. I just meant that I'm very good at my job and I know how to balance flirting with you with getting the case solved. I've been doing it for years."
"That's true. It's quite impressive."
"Yes," he said, then smiled as the light flickered and they started moving again, "Hallelujah, we're going home."
"Hmmm," Lindsay said, "I want a long, hot bath."
"Room for two?"
"Always."
