A/N: This was a story requested by my friend, xKunoichixAngelx. If you don't like shonen-ai(boyxboy love) don't read this! This is my first attempt, and I tired very hard to keep them in character. Enjoy!

Rain began pouring down out of nowhere. Zero had just been walking, and the sky opened up and gave no mercy to the white haired student. It seemed like today just couldn't get any worse. And then, he realized he had no umbrella. He'd been heading back to school from town.
Just great. Stuck out on the path, in a storm. What a wonderful and amazingly fun way to spend Friday afternoon. Well, since he was already soaked, he decided to just head on thru anyways.
After 5 minutes, Zero was basically pissed. Soaked to the bone, he just wanted to get to school, take a shower, and get something hot to drink. And the rain definitely wasn't going to let up anytime soon. All of a sudden, he wasn't being rained on. He looked to his right, and there stood Kaname Kuran, with a light blue umbrella held above his head.
"What the hell are you doing here?" Zero asked.
"I was also on my way back to the academy, and it so happened that I was prepared for some nasty weather. Would you prefer it if I took the umbrella, and left you alone?" Kaname asked, looking as if he already knew the answer.
"No. You can stay." Zero said, looking away quickly. He could feel the heat rising on his cheeks.
The two then began walking in silence, the storm blocked out by their thoughts. Both never thought they would be in this kind of position. Yet, here they were. Kaname decided to make the best of it. He wrapped his arm around Zero's shoulder, and brought him closer. Zero just walked, a bit stunned.
Then, out of no conscious decision, he wrapped his arm around Kaname's waist. After 10 mintues of walking, they came across the academy gate. The two hadn't spoken. Kaname then turned towards Zero, and gave him a kiss.
Zero just stood for a moment, taking it in. Then, he returned it. The duo stood there for a while, just delighting in each other. The umbrella had long ago been dropped, and the heavy rain, now a light drizzle, fell onto them.
Both broke apart. They hadn't known it until then, but each had been wanting to do that for sometime. It had just taken a small nudge in the right direction for it to be realized. Zero, being how he was, immediately realized what had happened.
"Don't even think about mentioning this to anybody, got that vampire? Or I'll hunt you down." Zero stated roughly, turning and stalking towards the Day dorm. Zero wasn't aware, but there was a small tinge of red, showing he had enjoyed it.
Kaname just smirked, and made his way to the Night dorm. Later on, people would ask why he smelt strongly of Zero.
