Prompt: Shin kick
"Fuck! Ouch! Montana, what was that for?," Danny asked, as he rubbed his aching shin.
"Oh, I'm sorry," she said, "Did that hurt? How about this?" she pulled her foot back and kicked him in the other shin.
"Crap," he said, hopping on the other foot, "What the hell?"
"What the hell is right Mister? Do you think you can just get my pregnant and leave me for a blonde bimbo? Do you?"
Danny looked at her, his brow crinkling in confusion, "Okay, baby, I know those hormones are crazy right now, but you have got to try and make some sen….hey stop kicking me." She kicked him twice more before he grabbed her around her baby-rounded waist and wrestled her down to the bed. His legs captured hers and stopped any shin kicking….or any kicking she might attempt to his family jewels.
"Okay, would you stop it now? What's going on?"
"You were flirting with that girl today. Don't lie to me; I saw you and I heard you and you asked for her number you horrible, horrible man. I hate you. I should have never let you impregnate me." That said Lindsay promptly broke into tears.
"Baby, don't cry. That number wasn't for me, it was for Flack. He was feeling all down about Stella dating that new guy and so I asked the woman for her number."
Lindsay turned her head away from him, still crying, "She was pretty, and sexy and she didn't have fat ankles."
"You have perfect ankles. You're perfect and beautiful and amazing." He pulled his hand away from her arms to cover the swell of her stomach, "And this is the most beautiful part of you, where you're growing our son."
"Daughter," she argued.
"Child," Danny said before they could get into another fight, "I love you."
Lindsay's eyes filled again, "I'm sorry I'm being so crazy. I'm just…."
"Its okay," Danny said, "I don't care how crazy you are as long as you're not upset anymore. I don't you or the baby under any stress."
Lindsay smiled, "I love you so much."
"I love you too. Want to take a nap? I'll massage your feet for you."
"Oh god yes," she said, shoving him and wiggling her toes, "Start with the arches."
"Whatever the mommy to be wants."
