Elsa heard five knocks at her door.

"Elsa?" Anna's small voice called though the door. She asks about building snowmen, and playing outside in the snow.

"Go away Anna." Elsa responds, as usual.

"Okay, bye." Anna responds as she walks away, disappointed.

An hour later, Elsa hears those same five knocks, this time at her window. She looks up with excitement.

"Jack!" Elsa runs to the window, and pries it open.

"Hey kiddo, long time no see." The white-haired boy laughs and hops into Elsa's room. "Been having fun lately?"

"No. . . Not exactly." Elsa tugs on her skirt, and looks away.

"Why not?" Jack asks as he sits criss-cross on the floor.

Elsa slowly explains the story of playing gone wrong, and Anna's frozen head. There's silence for a minute, before Jack speaks up.

"That's no reason to not have fun."

"But I can't have fun without hurting anybody!" Elsa protests.

"Hey, I'm already as frozen as I can get. You can have fun with me." The lighthearted grin on Jack's face is almost enough to bring Elsa's spirit back up.

"Watch." Jack flies over to the window, on which icy designs slowly spread.

"I see a rabbit!" Elsa explains. "And a reindeer!"

"Right, now watch." Jack grins, and brings the icy animals to life. They dance around the room in a flurry, Elsa watching in amazement.

"Could- could I do this?" She asks.

"Yeah, if you tried." Jack answers, half focusing on the animals still. They run to the top of the room, and then explode into a mini rain of snow, the same trick he had used to make her believe years ago.

Elsa bursts into a fit of giggles as she dances around in the snow. Snowflakes fall and cover the floor in a light blanket. Jack leans on his staff and watches Elsa play, her excitement only creating more snowfall in the room.

"Do you want to build a snowman?" Jack asks once the room is well covered with snow.

"Yes!" Elsa exclaims, already starting to form a ball of snow.

In mere minutes, the pair have made a snowman. Not any normal snow man, but one with two legs, and two arms, all made of snow. They step back to admire their work, Elsa letting out a sigh.

"He's handsome."

Jack laughs. "If you say so."

"I think that-" Elsa stops mid-sentence, tensing when she hears footsteps down the hall. "You have to go, now!" She warns Jack.

Jack listens for a moment, then nods and opens the window.

"I'll see you soon, okay? Don't get into any trouble, and don't forget to have a little fun." The boy leaps from the window, all the snow following on a current behind him. The window shuts softly as Elsa presses her ear to her bedroom door. She hears the two voices of guards talking as they walk past. Soon the sounds die down. She lets out a sigh of relief, and then runs to the window. She watches her friend fly off, until he's no longer visible.

Elsa lets out another sigh and rests her hands on the window sill. As soon as she does so, ice shoots out and covers half the window and the bench. Elsa gasps, and quickly runs out to find her parents.
