There are millions of universes out there, and billions of worlds. In some universes, things take a different path from others.
In some, Sora, who the keyblade was never meant to choose, ends up being the hero who saves the worlds from the oncoming threat.
In others, Riku, the keyblade's original chosen, claims his destiny and fights for what is right.
In more, the threat is stopped before it even begins by three friends at the Keyblade Graveyard, whereas in others, the threat never existed at all.
And of course, in some, the worlds are engulfed by the coming tide of darkness, and descend once again into chaos.
For every world where light prevails, there is one that darkness smothers. For every world where Sora wields the Keyblade, there is another that tells Riku's tale.
But, as one must know, there is not always a clear cut path between light and darkness, good and evil. And just as that is the case, there are some worlds where a middle path is cut.
