To a shinobi,war can do many things.Some shinobi come back with physical changes true but what im talking about goes far,far deeper than that.
Some shiobi come back pyschotic and see thier comrades and enimies nothing more than sacks of blood and their next chance to feel alive,other shinobi comback mentally scared and disabled from the acts they have done,and either quit being shinobi or become medic nins to try and atone for thier past mistakes,but they cant, for their acts shall stay in thier minds.
Yet even more come back stronger,faster,and determined to survive,theese shinobi are what i call diamonds in the rough,they are hardend by battle but do not allow it to change them,for insted of becoming emotionless killing machines they instead mourn for those they have killed and do not regret from killing to protect thier village and those precious to them.
Yet all of theese shinobi have one thing in common: they will never forget what they have done...the feeling of their kunia slipping into someones throat and ripping out the other side,thierselves stabbing thier enimes in the back and engoying it,thier justus ripping thier oppents to shreds or worse,or the worst of all...the felling they got when they killed...happiness.
