Lacy here. So, I've got another A Rite of Passage tag for ya. Why? Well cause Katie and I, stop cringing people, had the idea that Aaron just might be mad at Morgan too for blowing Em's ear drum. It's understandable, right? I mean, he knows the pain she's in and he cares about her so being angry at Morgan is completely understandable. So, don't be shocked when our lovely Unit Chief punches Morgan. Kay? Kay! Have fun!

Disclaimer: I own nothing.

Morgan saw the punch coming about two seconds before his boss's fist connected with his face. The power behind the punch set Morgan back a few feet before he caught himself. Raising a hand to his left eye, Morgan stared at his boss, half in shock, half in understanding.

"Don't say anything, Morgan." Aaron said as Morgan opened his mouth. "You and I both know why I did that. Let it go and walk away."

Morgan nodded. He did know why Aaron hit him. If his boss had blown Garcia's ear the way Morgan had Emily's, Morgan would have taken a swing too. He just couldn't believe Aaron actually did it.

Aaron made his way back to Emily, who was leaning against the SUV after getting her ear checked out at the hospital they were at.

"Feel better, He-Man?" Emily asked.

Aaron shook his right hand. "I'll let you know after the swelling goes down."

Emily shook her head. "I can't believe you did that. I'm fine. or will be."

"It's a guy thing, Emily." Aaron said. "Morgan understands."

Emily nodded. "Uh huh. Well, that guy thing better stay here or you're staying with your brother tonight."

Aaron smiled. "I promise, that was it. No more." he stroked Emily's hair away from her injured ear. "The pain going away?"

"A little." Emily said.

"It would be gone if you had just driven back instead of flying." Aaron said.

Emily pushed off the SUV. "Don't start, Aaron."

Dave and JJ watched the two bicker as they climbed in the truck.

"Thank god we're almost home." Dave said.

JJ nodded. "Uh huh."
