Our friendship is forever. So is our love. For years, you needed me to become strong and useful, Yoshi. I saved you from despair when you couldn't play the piano by yourself at your recital, and you knew that you had a friend to look to when you felt weak.

You and I became better and stronger while facing that scoundrel Kurata and the misguided King Drasil along with Marcus, Thomas, Keenan, and the rest of D.A.T.S. I became Sunflowmon, Lilamon, Rosemon, and finally, Rosemon Burst Mode. And even though Marcus and Agumon were the biggest heroes, we proved that even the weakest of D.A.T.S. officers can become two of the mightiest in the end.

It astounds me to see how strong you've become. You always thought you needed me to be strong. But we both know now that you no longer need me to be strong. I approve completely of your decision to become a police officer, Yoshi. While Marcus was the big macho hero of D.A.T.S. and Thomas was always the most professional, you were always the most loyal to your superior officers, and you were passionate about helping anybody who needed your help, human or digimon. Japan doesn't have the best police force in the world. It needs dedicated women like you; you can kick butt with those thugs that mess up the streets and kill innocent people. I knew you could do it ever since you laid out the case for befriending and caring about digimon to Ivan.

Sadly, because the digital dive has to be closed, and we digimon have to clean up the mess Kurata left in the Digital World, I can't see how well you are going to do at your job. But I guess this is the way it must be. My place is in the Digital World with my own kind. Your place is with your human friends and the police academy. You have to learn how to survive on your own now.

And yet, while I can't see you with my eyes, I think I can see you in my digital mind, wearing the blue uniform, going on patrol, giving good advice to Keenan and Kristy as they go to school, and making your first pull-over when Kouki speeds by on a motorcycle without a helmet. It makes me wonder if King Drasil himself is allowing me to see you.

Yoshi, good luck in your new life. I will always sing our song in the Digital World to remind me of you.

Yoshi Fujieda and Lalamon, two best friends united in song…

I swear it.
